Chapter 2.3 Is it time?

Ashley Knight, 5 foot 3 with green eyes, long brown hair, slim body but looked like she could fight. She seemed powerful, something about her brought me almost to bow to her. "Hello" was all I could say till Wyatt tapped my shoulder "Oh! This is Wyatt, hes my best friend." She looked him up and down in disapproval but also approval like there was something about him I didn't see. "Nice to meet you Wyatt, would you be okay if I take Ameila for a while to talk? I promise I'll bring her back in a few hours. I'm sure y'all have school work to do" Puzzled he nodded "Just text me when you're free ams" walking to his truck.

As soon as he drove off she smiled and lightened up. "Well know let me fully introduce myself if I may?" It brought my attention her. "My name is Ashley Knight, I'm sure by now you've met my son Kendrick and by the smell on you, you been close with him in the last few minutes before arriving. I can assure you we aren't here to disturb your life Ameila. We are from the Half moon pack a few hours away but the only pack close by to here. Your parents reached out in search of help since you are becoming of age, assume a day or two till your birthday?" Nodded she continued "Are you aware of what is happening to you? What is to be?"

"What is to be?" asking her interested in knowing anything of my past. "Ameila theres one little thing I haven't told you or your parents and if I do you won't be the same. You will want answers and answers I don't have for you right now. But I will after we see what you are and will become on the full moon after you shift for the first time, you just have to be willing to work with me and we will figure it all out." Nodded and twisted my head at her she stiffens up like I will bounce on her for what is to come. "I knew your parents, the ones who left you, and I am so sorry it took me till now to find you but im glad I finally did because you ar-"

Before she finished the sentence I had her by her throat and pinned against the wall on the house growling, digging my nails in her skin. She gasps for air and calms herself down before she throws me off into the yard fixing her outfit "Like I said, Im sorry but im here now and you will LISTEN!" I slowed bowed my head but not fully fighting the need to, glaring with teeth showing. I could't tell you what was happening to me because I blacked out. I barley heard what was being said.

ASHLEY POV:

The push into the wall was a little unexpected but when her parents told me that she had done that at a party I needed to see how far to push it. I pushed her off and got a good look at while dusting my clothes off. Her eyes were red, her growl was deep. It looked like she had a wolf already but she couldn't have. 'Its possible shes not what we thought' my wolf Liz says. Next thing Ameila blacked out dropping to the floor. Her parents run up to her. I need to find a way to get her to the pack now.

"She is not stable and the fact that her wolf is trying to present early means something much bigger then you will handle if she stays here any longer. I know we were suppose to take her after her birthday but we have know choice but to take her now and help her.We need to leave within the next few hours. I know this is not how you wanted to say goodbye to her but it must happen." The sadness on there face showed more words an emotion then what they wanted to say. They carried her up to her room and we all started packing her clothes and most important memories. I would have to let Kendrick finish out the year or at least half of it so no one suspect anything. I mindlink him and told him what I was doing 'Mom shes going to freak out again, and I think were mates' he starts to tell me about how she was happy and calm around him almost forgetting she had a best friend when they dropped him off. 'Son I need you to stay till shes settled in and tell that best friend of hers she left to go meet some family that found her yesterday, he should remember me.' I hear him groan and end the mindlink. He always gets so upset but he needs to learn and grow up.

Hours had past and we were on the road, I laid her in the backseat with all her stuff in the trunk and a guard in the passanger seat for when she wakes up if she decides anything other then to sit still and listen. Her blackout must have put her in a little coma or a deep sleep, she should have already woken up but I brushed it off, it must have been to much for her today. After a few more hours with some stops we made it to Half moon. Gates started to open and we were welcomed, I called for the pack doctor and told her to meet us in Ameilas room we had almost done for her.

A couple minutes go by and the doctor knocked on and entered. " What happened to her?" Jamie the pack doctor asked checking her over and examining Ameila head to toe for anything. "I told her the truth a little of it and she went at me so I threw her and something wasn't right. She was snarling and her eyes were red." Jamie puzzled stops her exam and backs up a bit. "If what you say is true, and her birthday is in a few days, she needs to be controlled until she meets her mate and or shifts on the full moon. But the moon isn't for another three weeks if that and we wouldn't have any idea where to start for her mate."

"Well... Kendrick thinks they are mates, they met at the school because we were suppose to be there longer then just a day but I told him to stay till half way through the year or till shes under control." Jamie didn't say anything again after that just had the look of disappointment. She finished her checkup on Ameila quickly and started walking out the door. She stopped holding the handle, "Luna Ashley. What to come is only the beginning if she is what I believe she is by what you have told me. Prepare for what might be coming while I go research more to know if what I speak is true or not." Just as she came, she left.

AMEILA POV

Twisting and turning, finally rolling over to sit up and stretch something caught me off guard, the room. "This isn't my room, this isn't even my house." Quickly getting up only to get dizzy and fall back down when someone came up to me, it was her, Ashley. "Hey take it easy, you had a bit of a fallout" What was she meaning by that? A fallout? Last thing I remember was-- Oh no, my parents. "Where are my parents? Where am I? What is going on?" as she sat me back on the bed to hand me a glass of water.

"It is a long story but I brought you to my home, to teach you and help you. Your parents are safe, they can come visit in a couple of months once we hope you have controlled yourself, but please may I ask you some questions to understand better something?" All I could do was nod at her. Some questions were easy like my favorite animal, subject, what I do for fun, who is Wyatt to me, what did I know of packs and wolves, what was I. That one seemed like one she was stuck on when she asked me, confused wondering how it could be answered. "What am I? I was hoping you could tell me that, since you brought me here." Dazzed she nodded "Our pack doctor believes you are something else, still one of us but different to were we must prepare for a fight, so what are you? from you're words, when did this all start for you?"

I never been asked that before, do I tell her when I started feeling these ways, or about my so called bad behavior? Would that be something to know? "A party during the weekend before school...Wyatt had taken me for our celebration of being seniors with not long left for us, we were to graduate early since we study enough to finish by end of first semester. At the party Wyatt was getting drunk, nothing new to me but he was shirtless..." My cheeks started to feel hot talking about it and I could tell she saw "A girl from school, she started hitting on him an-" Eyes went between red and black unsure where to stay at. "Next thing I knew he was pulling me off of her to the side to calm me down, Monday came and well....everyone knew" Tears fell.

Arms wrapped around me holding me tighly. "Ameila you're wolf, your spirit hasn't came to you yet, has it?" Shaking my head no while trying to calm down wiping my face. Just then the pack doctor came in, Ashley must have called her when I wasn't looking to see if I was okay. "Hello Ameila, it is so nice to meet you" she holds her hand out at me , shaky I take hers in mine. "I am here to make sure your okay and to talk to the Luna." She started checking for anything she could then stepped away.

"Luna she is perfectly healthy. Has she told you anything?" Completely looking past me as if I wasn't here. Growling started and just as I was going to pounce Ashley held me till it past. "Well, that explains a lot actually. Ameila can you please sit on the bed when you are calm so we may speak?" Eyes closed nodding as I was helped to the bed.

"If you are what I believe you are from reading up on it the last few days, you might not remember them. You are a very special, very rare wolf but as some call cursed, unloved, unwanted, mated to fail. Not because those are true, but because you are the last of your kind, you're parents must have knew something when they left you to the humans. Last known sighting of you're kind was 18 years ago and the fact they stayed in hiding for a year before you were born is incredible. I know this must all be sudden and you probably will have many questions, bu" Before she could finish I held my hand up to stop her holding my head. "Youre giving me a headache please slow down." Nodding she kept going "Luna Ashley said you and Kendrick might be mates, did you feel anything when you were near eachother?" "Mates? Me and Kendrick?" My face felt red but I didn't understand why. "I feel a tingle when im near him and he smelt amazing. Wyatt doesn't even smell that good. But never thought of us as anything other then friends" Guessing that hurt Ashley a little but she didn't show it "On you're birthday you will find out if you are both mates or not, you'll feel drawn to him and want only him, you'll wish to never be away from him. Prepare for that, We will bring him home for your birthday to see. In two days or one?" "What is today? I haven't even looked at the time or date?" "It is wednsday." Jamie said. "Happy birthday to me...." I say in a whisper. "Today would be my birthday, I assume I was out for a whole day?" They nodded " I was born at noon" looking around to a clock I see its 8:00 am. "four more hours till. Is that why I am acting out?" NO response for a few minutes.

"It could be, or it could be you're powers and wolf trying to break free early to tell you something, we wont know till it happens, but I must go tell Kendrick to hurry home, so please excuse me." Ashley said "Oh an please you can call me Ashley still but its Luna" She smiles making sure I had it correct before saying anything. I smiled back and looked at Jamie. "Rest, you'll need your strength tonight. we will hold a party and fully have you a member if the Luna has any say in it, shell make sure of it." Walking out of the room leaving my to my thoughts but growing tired all the same. I wonder what tonight will be like....
