Xander’s POV
“Xander darling I just don’t understand why you are chasing after that human,” Valerie taunted me in the kitchen, while I was trying to nurse the knot on the back of my head from that landing earlier.
“Valerie, I don’t owe you an explanation. Just never mind I am going for a run.” I left and still couldn’t shake that girl’s touch from earlier. I could still almost feel her fingers on me, and her strength, there was something about her, and I swear I felt like she was the one I was feeling connected to. It was so hard to tell in the training room though, that room was warded from magic anyway, so feeling anything in there would be nearly impossible.
