“Where’s Valerie?” Jake asked me sarcastically, entering my father’s office.
“She is with mom somewhere, thank goodness. She is kind of getting on my nerves.” I rolled my eyes. She really was getting on my nerves. “Jake there is something missing.” I shook my head, since entering the gates this morning and being back here I felt a connection to someone that I couldn’t quite figure out, but I planned on getting to the bottom of it. “I can feel her, I don’t know how to explain it, but I feel it strong and then it fades a little.
