Chapter 9

The city was huge. Even after passing these two miles to get to this place, I could see from where we were, easily another two miles ahead of us. The hill it was on, did seem like it was quite expansive, when we were walking up towards it. Now that we were here it was evident to me that I was underestimating the size of this city. I think it had to be bigger than the male city we were in earlier, probably twice as big as that city if not bigger. Questions began to form in my mind, why did that creature say that there was no male allowed here when we saw, quite clearly, that there were plenty of males here. Maybe what Hanuman had said about the creature was true. He had some sort of post traumatic stress of some sort. “Is this the place?” I asked Walker as we came up to this quite extravagant place. Walker looked down at his map to verify this and looked back up, he nodded. To say this place was extravagant was actually an understatement. There was a strange golden hand on the side of the building it was holding this huge red number 6. This number six had a bunch of strobing and flashing lights on it. At the center were these two golden doors. Above the doors were drawings of silhouettes of what looked to be females. They were standing in different positions. They were not lewd poses, but they were different poses. Above the door was this strange dome, it was red and had these lights strobing in all sorts of weird ways. On it was these golden letters that seemed to draw themselves out somehow. “SIX Service Inc.” Walker said reading the words on the dome. “This is a bit more extravagant than I thought,” I said. I looked around and walked towards the entrance. “Hold on,” Walker said. “Remember what the robot said, it said that I was too young to get in there.” “Well if we learned anything from what that thing was saying earlier, it could be that they might think you are too young to really care about you.” I said. I decided to roll with that idea, I walked towards the entrance. As I did, I noticed this female sitting at the front desk which was next to the doors. The woman was pretty, she had blonde hair she had in a bun and she had some sort of paint on her face. Mostly on her lips, with some under her eyes and on her cheeks. The woman was wearing this blue dress, with this blue triangular shaped hat on her head. She looked like she was not really paying mind as she had this weird looking stick in one hand, and she was sharpening her claws, or at least that is what I thought. “I didn’t know your females had claws,” I said to Walker. “She is a Fakir huh?” Walker said then realizing what I had said, he added. “They aren’t claws we call them finger nails.” The woman looked up as we drew closer and looked at me with this bright smile. She was very pretty, I thought, for a furless female I mean. “Hello Sir, welcome to SIX Service Inc.” she said brightly. “Uh…hi.” I said. Really, I had not thought things through fully. I didn’t know what all I was supposed to do once I got here. “Is it your first time here?” the woman asked. “Err yes,” I said. “My name is Be…” “Hunter, his name is Hunter.” Walker quickly said. I looked over at him a bit confused, but I decided to follow his lead. “And yes, he knows I am too young to be here, but we are here to visit a friend of ours.” “Oh a friend?” The woman said. “She works here?” “We are not so sure,” I said. “You see a mutual friend told us to find her here, but the only thing he gave us is this glyph that apparently indicated this space.” “Oh,” the woman said. “Yeah we think she might own this place,” Walker said. “SIX?” the woman asked. “SIX is your friend?” “You can say that,” I said. “Hold on,” the woman tapped her ear, when she did something beeped and she started talking, “Yeah I have this guy and a kid here, they say they are SIX’s friend.” “You sure?” the woman said surprised. “Okay, sending them in.” There was a buzz at the door and we thanked her and walked in. “Hunter?” I asked when we walked into the building. “That was what they called you remember?” Walker said. “I know but why didn’t you allow me to say my real name?” I asked. “Because your name screams I am big giant silver wolf thing.” Walker said. “Duly noted,” I said. “So, what was with this deal of knowing who owns this place?” “I realized something about this Samielle character,” Walker said. “I had this feeling I knew her from somewhere. Then I started to think that Hanuman said we should look for creations of Norman Hunraken, and that was when I realized why we were sent here.” “Oh?” I said “She used to work for Norman Hunraken.” Walker said. “Greetings,” a metallic voice suddenly said. I nearly jumped when I saw that thing again. That ribbit or whatever the hell they called it. It was standing right next to us quite suddenly. “You again?” I said. “Sorry I believe we have not met,” the thing said. “We saw a similar model earlier.” Walker said. “Oh, so you met Eve,” the thing said. “I am designated 01234123EVA, you may call me Eva.” “Explain,” I said to walker. “Remember I told you they build a lot of these robots?” Walker said. “This is a different model of that same type of robot we saw earlier.” “Indeed, I can only tour people through buildings.” Eva said. I decided to mentally call it Eva just to separate it in my mind from that other one we had interacted with earlier. “We are here to talk to Samielle,” Walker said. “Yes, I know that is why I came,” Eva said. “Follow me.” Eva turned around and started humming down the hallway. We followed it closely deciding not to get lost in here. A short while later we came to a room that had a fancy drapery over it. “Miss, I have brought them.” Eva said. “Thank you, Eva,” a voice called back. “See you later,” Eva said as it buzzed off. Walker and I looked at each other before we walked towards the drapery. We walked in and I was stopped in my track. Sitting behind a desk was a very beautiful woman. She was very beautiful. She had golden brown hair that she had back on the back of her head as a bun. She wore a lot of this paint on her face. Red lips, a rose color to her cheeks and she had more of that paint under her eyes. It made her look prettier, I wondered if this is what furless females would do to attract suitors or something. She was wearing a dress, it was kind of bronze in color and it went well with her lightly tanned skin. She was tan, but she was lighter than Walker and Uriel who were the only Fakirs that I had seen really. She seemed to have a bit more weight than the other Fakir females I had met yet oddly enough she was arousing me, and it made me uncomfortable. She was fiddling with some books in front of her. It was this very big book, with all sorts of things scribbled on it. The girl looked up, looked at me then looked at Walker. “Prince Walker!” she said nearly jumping in place. “Oh, hell it is you,” Walker said under his breath and I stared at him. “What are you doing here?” she said whispering vigorously. “I should ask you the same thing Sammie,” Walker said. “You do know her?” I said. “Yes…” Walker sighed. “Who is your friend?” I said. “Sammie used to work Norman Hunraken,” Walker said. “You said that,” I said frowning. “Remember how I said he was banished by my father?” Walker said. “Yes….” I said. “I was the one who helped bring him to justice.” The woman said. I stared at her confused. “Then why the hell are you running this sort of outfit?” I asked. “I had no choice,” The woman said. “After taking down such a world renown Scientist like Norman Hunraken, I could not find a way to make ends meet.” “I see,” I said. “So, the primate was correct to send us to her then.” “What do you mean?” the woman asked. “Sammie, we need your help.” Walker said. “How?” the woman asked. “Sammie, Hunraken is back, and we need take him down,” Walker said.
