“Good morning Mom, good morning dad. “Both of you slept well?” This is the casual routine of a 14 year old pretty teen ager as she pull her chair to take her breakfast with her parents. Stacy is the eldest daughter she has sister 3 years younger than her. “Yes sweetheart, thank you for asking, how about you?” her dad is asking. Did you finished your school project?” her dad is asking about the class group project where Stacy is the group leader. ‘Yes dad I finished and we will have zoom meeting with my group later” she replied with proud accent and with her adorable smile. Her mom is just smiling and looking at them. “Hi baby sister how are you she ask her sister?.” Her sister just replied with thumbs up which means she’s fine and okay. After taking breakfast, she send sms to her group to tell them for zoom meeting regarding their project. After presenting, members of the group agreed to submit it to the teacher. “I will send tru email so all of you can print “she told the members. “ Come to our house I know your printer has a problem “said Maureen her best friend. “Yeah, I forgot yes okay I will come around 2 pm today”. Maureen is the daughter of her Godfather, their family are very close to each other. Her dad is also an engineer like her father both are working in one company. A Lebanese well known construction firm. “Mom I’m going to Maureen house around 2 pm today”. “Okay, I’ll drop you on my way to Office today.” Have to sign some papers too.” Thanks Mom,” she replied. She then took shower, fixed herself and keep her red sling bag ready. She checked her flask disc if she already has it on her sling. Around 1:20 pm she is ready to go, with her long blond straight hair and black tattered fitted skinny jeans, she looks stunning even at the age of 14 to add her refine Chinese complexion with her tantalizing Spanish nose she is really the eye catcher in the school. While waiting ng for her mom she sms Maureen “Mom will drop me, I’m on my way “ok,” Maureen replied. “Bye mom” see you later”, as she kisses her mom. “Take care and behave” her mom replied. “Okay will” she replied too. From the gate Maureen is waiting for her and waver her hands to her mom. Stacy notice the new white car it is Honda Civic 2020. “Maureen, I like your dad’s new car”. She told to Maureen. “No that is not my dad’s car that belongs to my uncle, “he just came and will stay here for few days” Maureen added. The two directly went to Maureen’s room to start the printing. After finishing some few copies, “Stacy, I will leave you here for a while will take some chocolates I know you like very much the white Lindt .”Maureen wink her eyes as she was talking. “Seriously you have?” okay then take it fast before it melts.” she joke. While doing the print outs the paper got jammed in the printer she open the printer and tried to pull the paper out but it is quiet hard to pull. “I will do it for you.” said the well-modulated voice coming from her back. She turned her back and she saw a man with super white teeth, black straight hair, tall with tan complexion. Wearing short khaki cargo shorts with plain shirt that made him looks so cool yet so appealing. “May I?” asked the handsome while looking at her eyes that made her melts like strawberry ice-cream. “Oh okay please do” she replied. “I’m Kris, Maureen uncle, so you are the beauty and brain best friend of my niece?”? Maureen always tells me about you”. He added while pulling out the paper from the printer. “Here” while showing her the pulled out paper. “Thanks” she replied. “Maureen forget to tell me that you are shy”. He look at her deeply straight to her eyes again that she cannot understand what she feels. “Here our favorite” voice of Maureen while putting the chocolates on top of the stool. “Stacy this is my Uncle Kris” Uncle, this is my brain and beauty best friend Stacy” Oh yeah Hi Stacy nice to meet you as he handed his hands, “hello nice meeting you” she said it very softly. Time passed and the two finished their work. She had to leave the house because her mom is near at the gate. She kissed her best friend before leaving. “See you next week” Yes, next week I’m sure we will enjoy” Maureen replied. There will be a group outing and it is planned to the beach. This is what the two girls are talking about. While inside the car she cannot forget the handsome face and the smile of Kris. “Are you okay dear?’ her mom asked. “ Yes mom I am okay we finished and next we week will submit before we leave for outing” “okay very well” her mom replied. But to her mom there is something that her daughter is not telling. Until her bed at night she can’t forget the face of Kris. Seems she likes to look at his face always and listen to his voice all the time. This feelings makes her uncomfortable, she did not have this feeling before. On the other hand, Kris is also thinking of Stacy. He was just controlling his feelings in front of her ad to everybody because she is very young. Days has passed still Stacy cannot forget that scene where Kris was looking at her eyes and their skin touches as she received the pulled out paper from the printer. She feels disturbed of his voice and his face. She tried to ignore on her thoughts “this is not good and this is impossible” she said to herself. “Mom tomorrow is our outing with my group “she said to her mother while walking in the pool side. “okay dear what do you need from me?” her mother replied. Can you please drop me to my school ?”. “okay , how about going to the beach?” her mom asked her. “ Kim will bring their van with his driver and we will use it going to the beach and back home.” She replied to her mother politely. Kim is her classmate, the president of the class as she is the vice president. Her teacher and their classmates often teases them to be a perfect couple as they both are intelligent and good looking. “Good morning teacher Elize” she greeted politely. She submitted their projects and waited the others to come. Her Mom left after dropping her in the school to proceed to her office to work. Kim came with the others and looking so excited and carrying some bags and other stuff needed. After few minutes another came and she felt something different because to her mind she knew the car the color and her heart beats faster when it stop in front of her Yes it is the car of Kris the man whom made her sleepless nights. The window opened and Maureen came out. “Hi Stacy are we all set and ready to go?” she asked with full of excitement. ‘’yes we are all set” she replied to Maureen. They put all their stuff in the van. “We need another car we cannot fit in “Kim told them. “ I will solve that problem wait” Maureen replied to Kim and then went to his uncle who is far from them. She then came back and “Stacy come with me and the rest will be with Kim” Stacy is about to refuse because she don’t want to see Kris, she feel very uncomfortable but Maureen is pulling her going to the car. She is about to open the back side door of the car when “Stacy sit in front I will be at the back “Maureen told her. Silently, on their way, Stacy is just quite listening her favorite songs. She is avoiding Kris agreeable smile and close her eyes pretending she is sleeping. It is one hour drive going to the beach, she cannot talk to Maureen because she is very busy texting with whom she didn’t not ask. “Here we are” Kris said to them while secretly looking at her and admiring her beauty. She dint hear what Kris was saying because she felt asleep. Kris slowly remove her head set and Kris fingers touches her ear. He watched closely to her face and so amazed of her innocent beauty. Then he whispered again “we are here” Stacy opened her eyes slowly and got shocked when she saw Kris face just an inch away. “I’m sorry, I slept” she said. “you are so beautiful dear” you know that?” Kris told her with eyes winked. She felt like the words are music to her ears it’s like a sweet melody that is being whispered to her ears. She like those words but tried to control her feelings which this time she knows that this is called Crush Yes! She feel crush to Kris. “Hi” Kris broke her imagination. “Would you like to continue your sleep?” She smiled and nod her head. Avoiding Kris eyes and slowly come out from the car and went to the group. The group enjoyed their outing and everybody was tired. She opted to ride in Kim’s van with the others. She explained that she should be in the group to keep her awake on their way home. When Kris tried to help carry her things to put to the van she refused. She insisted that she only has few things and that she can handle. She even refused the invitation of Maureen. She instead invited Maureen to just come to their house. She is very determined to forget everything about Kris because she is still 14. She kept herself busy by attending a dance class every Saturday. Days, weeks, and years passed. She managed to completely forget Kris. She graduated in high school as valedictorian with colorful special awards.
