Mate? How can he be my mate? Theo is my mate, “oh s**t” I hear Theo say next to me “mate” Leo says as he stands in front of me looking into my eyes,”wh-wh-what i-is g-going o-on?” I ask confused and shocked as I look from Leo to Theo and back to Leo “alphas, alphas, hey alphas” I hear someone shouting and see Britney coming towards us, straight away she throws herself at Leo and for some reason this makes me want to punch her “Leo your back I missed you so much” she says as she leans up like she’s about to kiss him but instead he pushes her off and says “it’s Alpha Leo to you”, I take it you haven’t told Summer yet” he says turning to Theo, “no, I was going to tell her this evening, we weren’t expecting you until tomorrow” “we drove through the night to get back quicker” “t-tell me what?” I ask still not understanding “come on let’s go upstairs and we will explain everything” says Leo, as we leave to head for the elevator Britney gives me the filthiest look and I hear what sounds like Sofia’s voice say “they have found their mate and Luna now Britney so I suggest you give in and move on” Theo and Leo both give a little chuckle.

When we reach the Alpha suite we all sit down in the living room, I’m sat on the sofa with Theo sat beside me and Leo sat on the coffee table in front of me, so close our knees are brushing.

There’s an awkward silence as I wait for them to start talking, I look from Leo to Theo, back to Leo then Back to Theo “ so is someone going to tell me what’s going on? How can you both be my mate?” I ask, suddenly feeling a little braver, “ “umm, well you remember I told you Leo and I are identical twins that came from one egg?” Theo begins “yes” I answer “well that means we are the same in every way except with slightly different personalities and with werewolves this often means that identical twins will have the same mate, so you are still my mate but you are also Leo’s mate, I was going to sit down and explain this to you this evening so it wouldn’t be a shock when you met him” “oh, umm, so what happens now? I mean umm, do I need to choose between you or something?” “You have every right to if that’s what you want, but usually someone mated to identical twins will choose to be with both in that case the 3 of us will live together, in an arrangement that works for all 3 of us” says Leo “but you do have the right to reject one or both of us if that’s what you want” adds Theo “do you remember what I told you about rejection?” “Umm, yes, has that happened before where only one brother got rejected?” “I heard of it happening once, yes” says Theo, “so what happened?did the rejected brother find a new mate?” “Umm, no” answers Leo “not being able to handle the pain of the rejection and seeing his brother and mate together everyday it caused a rift between them and he eventually killed himself, his brother then ended up blaming their mate for his death and rejected her” “oh, that’s so sad, I don’t want that to happen to you two but it’s a lot to take in and I don’t know anything about you Leo other than what Theo me” “I know, but I’m here now and not going anywhere so we can take all the time you want to get to know each other, and you can ask me anything you want” “umm, I do have one question, for both of you” “what is it?” Asks Leo “ask away” adds Theo “that girl downstairs what does she mean to you?” “She means nothing” answers Leo “absolutely nothing, just an annoying girl who keeps trying to get with us, but you don’t have to worry about her” adds Theo “have you ever slept with her?” “I have never slept with anyone, I have been waiting for you” answers Theo with a smile, I smile back then look to Leo to see he is looking down at the floor, “umm, Leo” he looks up and takes a breath then answers “there was one night about a year ago we were having a party, I woke up the next morning in my bed with no memory of how I got there then realising there was an arm draped over me I turned round to see Britney lay there and realised we were both naked, I quickly got dressed, and made her get dressed and leave she swears we had s*x but I don’t remember it and don’t remember even seeing her at the party, my door had been unlocked so she could of staged it” “I wouldn’t put it past her” Theo adds “a few weeks later she tried claiming she was pregnant with my child but when I asked for proof she said she got rid of the test, she then refused to do another test or go to the doctor with me so I made it clear that I wanted nothing to do with her without any proof, after that I made sure to avoid her and kept my door locked, a couple of weeks later a rumour went round that she miscarried but Dr Harland said there is no record of her ever being pregnant” “but why would she make something like that up?” “To try to trick me into claiming her as my mate probably, but the only mate I want is my true mate, you” looking into his eyes I can see that he means everything he said and he seems worried, “ok, umm thank you for being honest with me” “of course my Luna, I will always be honest with you, you are the most important thing in the world to me and all I want is for you to be happy and safe, hopefully with us” he says with a hopeful smile as he takes my hand and Theo takes my other hand as he says “so what do you think baby? Do you think you could learn to love us both?” “Ummm, I, it’s still a lot to take in, would you mind if I had a little time by myself to think and get my head round it all?” “Of course, if that’s what you want we can go down to the office for a bit, before we go I have some gifts for you that I picked up this morning” “you do? But you’ve already given me so much” “of course you are our Luna and deserve the best” Theo goes out the room and comes back a moment later with a few gift bags, “here open this one first” I take the bag and take the box out to find it’s an iPhone 16 pro max “a phone I say surprised, I’ve never had a phone before” “I have already set it up for you it has my number on there as well as Leo’s, our parents, Kyle, Sofia, Louis, Leah, Leanne, Stefan and a few others, I have also downloaded a few apps that I thought you might like “oh my gosh thank you” I say giving him a hug, “you’re welcome baby, the rest of your gifts have also been set up ready for you, if you need any help with them just ask” “umm yeah I will, thank you so much” “we will go downstairs then and let you get familiar with them and think things through, just call or come down if you need anything” “ok I will” I say as Theo kisses my forehead and heads to the elevator, Leo then says “see you soon Babes” before also kissing my forehead and joining Theo.
