The end of November came quickly, and with it plans for the holiday season. Everyone was going back to King for a few days on Thanksgiving. I hadn’t mentioned to Casey I didn’t have any plans, and it took until we were on the plane back home before he mentioned something.
“I figured you could just crash at my new place, or we could stay at my parent’s house. I mean, who knows how much I’ll want to go anywhere after all the food and drink.”
“Wait.” I frowned at him. “Am I…spending Thanksgiving with your family?”
He raised his eyebrows. “Well, you hadn’t mentioned anything about your folks, and I just assumed you weren’t going there, so you were coming with me.”
