Two days later, we were back to recording and Christmas was around the corner. Casey and I had been speaking less and spending less time together since the night before Thanksgiving. And he had taken to drinking more, as well as popping more pills than ever before. I didn’t even know what he was taking, but it made him act like he was in a fog.
