Chapter 58

Antoine’s POV

It has been a month of no drama. I probably shouldn’t talk too fast because there is always something going on here. The last month has been peaceful. We had to have a meeting with Alpha Sam, Sadie’s father, after her challenge and fight with Desiree. Because everything was by law and recorded for him to view, he had no issues with the way things occurred. He thanked Desiree for not killing his daughter and stopping the fight when she did. We still have an alliance, but his daughter is not allowed on Crescent Lake territory and if we come to their pack, she is not to be around I or Anthony. We are still dealing with Brenda, but she is not as bad. I think she realizes that she will not benefit from having our child and, in the end, she will get treated like a surrogate. She still insists that the baby is ours. It is due to arrive in around eight weeks, so we will find out for sure then. I pray every day that it is not. I know Desiree won’t leave us, and she is strong and will handle the situation, but I really don’t want to put her through that. She has been through enough.

The rogues we captured were all interrogated. The more violent and uncooperative ones were killed. The others were sent to the council. They have prison camps and rehab programs. The ones who agreed to that option were those with families and the council agreed to assist their families with finances temporarily because of the information they provided. A sketch artist came and created a rendering of The Master based on Desiree and Zach’s description. Zach is still here and has been getting to know Desi. He still has a security detail, but so far, he has posed no threat. He seems genuine about protecting his sister. He has also been to Bloodmoon and met his other siblings.

It was discovered that Amber had been bullying pack members along with Tina for years. She has slept with pack members and manipulated others using her rank and s*x. Several warriors came forward and said she told them she would lie on them to her father if they did not help her bully other students while in high school. Amber then began sleeping with the rejected shewolf's mate, causing her pain and bruises for weeks until the bond was completely broken. That shewolf and her family eventually left the pack. She even slept with a few mated males. Two of the couples ended up rejecting each other. One couple left the pack to save their bond. She also slept with teachers for passing grades. There was even a teacher she blackmailed for a passing grade. When confronted with the allegations, she lied and blames others for her actions. She finally stated that she was the Gamma’s daughter, and no one could do anything to her. She felt she was untouchable because of her parents and her relationship with Alpha Trevor. In the end, she was convicted of blackmail, assault, attempted use of witchcraft against a ranked member and crimes against the mate bond. She could have been executed for her crimes, especially the ones against the mate bond. Because of David and Maria, we sent her to the council and requested she be placed in their prison program. She was sentenced to ten years in the prison work program. I think the council was also generous because of her parents. Gamma David and Maria were shocked and utterly disappointed by the actions of their daughter. Though they knew a harsh punishment was warranted, and they were thankful for the decision of the prison program instead of banishment, they were having a hard time coping with the situation. David and Sharon have been taking more and more of their duties because they are grieving over the situation with Amber.

The last month, the girls have been decorating the suites and planning the alpha and Luna ceremony. We were originally planning it for the beginning of the year, but my parents moved it up to next month. Claudia is 4 weeks pregnant, and my parents want to retire before she delivers so they can freely be with her at Bloodmoon. Desiree’s POV

I take the boys upstairs to our floor and have them close their eyes. I enter the security code for our unit and guide them into the room.

“We love it. You and the designers did a great job”

“Why? They were supposed to help make this easier for you”

“I didn’t like their attitude. They were very condescending and the only time they were nice was when you guys were around, and they were flirting. Leti and Sharon didn’t have the same experience, so I think it was just me. Did you guys have s*x with them too?”

The whole unit is decorated in calming blues and creams. I used other colors as accents. I know both love blue, so I used my favorite colors of red, pink, orange and purple as accent pillows and so forth. I walk them to the living room with the deep, plush sofa facing the 85” t.v. screen with full audio surround. Then we go to the kitchen, where they are just happy it’s fully stocked. I was able to design a nice-sized island and modern appliances. The refrigerator is color coded to the blue, orange and white mosaic tile backsplash. We have 3 bedrooms with ensuites on one side of the unit and our bedroom with a custom-made bed for all three of us, a modern and soothing bathroom with a tub large enough for all of us to fit and a huge shower with all around body jets. I even gave each of us our own sink and storage space. Next is our walk-in closet to accommodate all our clothes and a dressing area for each. I had a balcony built off the room so we could have a sitting area that looks out onto the pack.

“Desi, this is amazing. You thought of everything and made sure to accommodate everyone. Thank you, my love,” Antoine said, with a kiss

“It is beautiful, Desi. Thank you, babe,” Anthony said

“The Beta and Gamma units are also complete, so we can all move in. Now we will focus on the ceremony” I say

“Wonderful, I am happy that things are finally coming together. Let’s just keep it that way”, Anthony says
