Chapter 62

Anthony’s POV

We have completed our ranked member training with Ian. We are sitting and talking when Wesley blurts out

“I’m going to ask Leti to marry me.”

“Why? She’s already your mate. Werewolves don’t get married” I ask

“But she’s human and a witch. In their species, they get married. I don’t want her to miss out on something she may have looked forward to because it’s not what we do” he replies

“That’s a good idea. Mind if I steal it?” David asks

“You want to get married too?” I question

“Sharon’s been talking a lot about her family on the island. I think she misses them. We were planning a trip once things calmed down, but a wedding sounds even better. And Wes is right, I don’t want to deprive her of her culture and traditions just because she is mated to a werewolf”

“Count us in too, then” Antoine says

“What? I didn’t agree with this” I say

“Then I’ll marry Desi. Technically, in the human world, she can only have one husband anyway. I’m calling dibs. But Ant, there is no way I will have Desi attending and probably participating in her cousin's wedding, and she not have one of her own. She deserves everything she wants, especially from us” Antoine replies

“Agreed, but my name goes on the marriage license”

“Nope, you missed that chance. I will be her official husband. You should have been on board from the beginning,” he smirks,

“So now what? Rings?” Ian asks

“Yeah, I have been looking and there is this jeweler at the mall in Greensville that specializes in custom jewelry and will expedite delivery. They are wolves, so they are okay to come to the pack. I was going to head there today. You guys want to come along?”

“Sounds like a plan. The girls are going to the coven to train today anyway”, David says

“We don’t have anything major planned, so let’s go after breakfast” I suggest

“I can’t wait to get a mate and plan all of these kinds of things too. You all better be there to help me too” Ian says

“You know we are here for you” Antoine says

“Actually, that brings up something we have been thinking about. I know this is not the formal setting this kind of offer is usually made in, but everyone who needs to be here is and the others who know agree with my suggestion. Ian, we would like to offer you the position of Delta of The Crescent Lake Pack”, I say

“Delta? Me? Are you sure I’m just a warrior?” he asks, surprised.

“I am absolutely sure. You are our lead and strongest warrior. You have led many missions and have taken point at strategizing multiple times. You are involved in all areas of training along with Wesley already. You are already doing the job. Now you will have the title along with a suite in the packhouse” I say

“This is something we all have spoken about and agree you are the perfect candidate. It won’t go into effect until we take over, but that gives you time to promote and train your replacement for lead warrior” Antoine says

“I am honored. I accept the position. Thank you, Alpha’s” he replies

“You earned it. We will have a quick meeting next week to discuss duties, plans and meeting schedules next week. Welcome to the team, Delta Ian” We all stand and shake hands

We all head back to the packhouse, shower and change. After breakfast, we make sure the girls’ portal to the coven, then head to the city for rings. We discuss how we want to propose. We decide to re-create our first group dinner date. Antoine calls Mrs. Ryan, the lead Omega to get things set-up for tonight. We offer to pay extra because it is at the last minute. We will need some omegas to serve tonight. We finish making arrangements just as we reach the jewelry store.

David has a family band he wants jewels added to it. He sits with a designer, and they design a ring using the gold band he bought with him. He adds a five-carat emerald cut pink diamond to the center, then adds smaller diamonds to the band. He has the inside engraved. He pays extra for it to be completed within the next six hours. We discover we will all be paying extra to expedite the creation and delivery of our rings. Wesley finds a platinum band, he gets a five-carat aquamarine princess cut center diamond, with smaller diamonds wrapped within the band. We spoke to one of the designers, and she created two rings that joined together to make one large ring. The center ring is a ten-carat clear white flawless heart shaped diamond, the other rings that wrap around the main ring are small diamonds and rubies alternating on both sides. Each lady was able to get gems that are their favorite color in their rings. We were there for hours designing and finalizing the sale. The store guarantees it will be dropped off at the pack by 6pm. We decide to go to the mall for other surprises for the night.

Antoine’s POV

We call the girls and ask them to be home by 3pm. They tend to be tired after magic training at the coven, so we figured a nap and spa session would be the start of the gifts tonight. We call the spa in town and book a glamour package for the girls. We don’t finish at the mall until almost 1pm, we grab a quick lunch at the food court, pick up flowers and then head back to the pack. It's almost 3pm when we got back. We meet the girls in the woods, which is where they usually portal to and from. The portal opens, and we are greeted by three messy but beautiful women. They step out and we give them their flowers

“What is this for?” Sharon asks

“We have plans for you all tonight”, David says, giving her the flowers and kissing her.

Everyone follows, greeting their mate and giving them flowers.

“What were you girls up to today?” I ask

“We were working on combining our powers. So Leticia wet the ground, making dirt, and then I was able to throw it. We were able to cover people in mud and then Sharon heated it up, basically encasing them and immobilizing them. We were able to do it for multiple people at one time. It is a good way to capture, but the heating of the mud does scall the skin, so not to be done on friends” Desiree said

“That’s why you’re so dirty?” Anthony questions

“Yeah, we had a mud fight” Leticia answers

“Okay, we have made plans for dinner tonight and a movie, like our first group date. We know you guys are usually tired after training, that’s why we had you come back early. So, we prepared a small snack for you in your room; go shower, eat and get a nap, you have a salon session for 5:30pm, then dinner is at 8pm in the small dining room. We figured you would want to get dressed together so, everything will be in the Alpha’s suite after that. We will meet you there at 7:45pm to pick you up”, Wesley said

With a goodbye kiss, they all headed to the packhouse. We went to make sure all our gifts and plans were ready for tonight. We went to the kitchen and all the food was right on schedule. We then went to the dining room and helped with the table settings and decorations. We made sure all the other gifts were wrapped and ready. The girls left at 5pm to go to the salon. We then put their dresses and new lingerie in individual rooms of the alpha suite. We put their names on the room doors and their clothes hung inside with a wear me note. We were able to get dresses that coordinated with the jewelry we purchased. We called our mom’s from the mall, and they directed us to the store we should go to. They even spoke to the saleswoman and stayed on video to help us pick the dresses and lingerie. Desiree’s dress is dark red strapless, with white gems around the breast area. Leticia’s dress is light blue with a shimmering bodice and spaghetti straps and Sharon’s dress is pink strapless with a train. We had bracelets delivered to the salon, and they were to be placed on their wrists after the manicures, which was to be the last of the session. We had a car pick them up from the salon and take them back home. A small charcuterie board and Moscato wine was waiting in the room for them. None of the girls are big wine drinkers, but they all like Moscato. We arrived at their door at exactly 7:45 with the next gift

Desiree’s POV

We don’t know what bought on this romantic evening, but is has been amazing. Then being considerate enough to make sure we got a nap before was priceless. We all went to our rooms and had our snack of a sandwich and chips, which hit the spot after a nice hot shower, then a two-hour nap. We woke up and walked to the salon. There we had a massage, a hair appointment, then mani/pedi’s. After our manicures, Sarah the owner came to us and put a diamond bracelet on each of us and gave us a note; ‘a gift for you to wear daily to remind you how much you brighten our day daily’. When we left the salon, Ian was waiting to drive us to the packhouse. He told us to all go to my room and the next gifts were there. We entered the room to wine and a charcuterie board and another note, ‘your names are on the doors of the rooms that have your clothes to wear’. We went to our separate rooms and there was lingerie and beautiful dresses. We all got dressed, going back and forth to each other's rooms. At 7:45, all the boys entered the suite dressed in suits with ties that matched our dresses. They were each holding a box

“Hello beautiful ladies” Antoine said

“Are you guys ready to go?” Wesley asked

“Yes, but something is missing” Leti said

“What’s that, my love?” Wes asked

We all put our feet out, showing we had no shoes on. During this time, David is placing a stool from the kitchen island behind each of us. We are lifted into the chairs by our mates

“Not to worry, we got you covered” Wes says

They each open their box and produce a pair of diamond-encrusted heels, they place them on our feet and guide us to the floor to stand. We are then escorted to the dining room. When we enter the dining room, there are flowers and candles everywhere, soft music is playing, and the same two omegas are standing to the side. The table is set as before, but everything is black and silver. Instead of food, there are boxes in the spots where the girls and I are supposed to sit. We are escorted to our seats and then the boys sit.

“In front of you is our next gift. There’s no card this time, but these are to show you how special you are to us” Anthony says

We opened the boxes. Jewelry to go along with our dresses. There is a necklace and earring for each of us. We each put on the earrings and the men put on the necklace. We take a few pictures as a group and individual couples. We then all sat down to eat.

“We all got the same meal this time, but the staff wanted to surprise us, so we don’t even know what it is” Anthony says

“The kitchen omega staff wanted to express how happy we were to have you all here and as our future ranked members. We made you rib eye steak with lobster tail, garlic roasted potatoes and sautéed green beans with bacon. We hope you enjoy yourself”. Trisha says

“Thank you, Trisha, and please thank the kitchen staff, this looks delicious”. Sharon says

The omegas then leave, and we are left to eat. We talk and eat, just enjoying our time together. They tell us they finally offered Ian the Delta position, which we all thought was a great idea. We have decided to invite Bright Moon and Sharp Claw out a few days before the ceremony so we can spend some time with Ebony and Evie and get to know the boys' friends. The omegas come and remove our dishes and place a small dish of crème Brulé in front of us for dessert

“Thank you, guys. This is one of my favorite desserts” I yell

“We know Luna. Enjoy!” Trisha says, and they all leave the room

“Before dessert we have another gift for you”, David says, getting up

“We would like you guys to stand right here”, Wesley says, putting us in specific spots

The other boys go over to the side table where David is. They all walked back and stood in front of us. They then all get down on one knee, open a ring box and say ‘will you marry me?’ We all gasp and yell ‘YES’.
