7 “This is where I stay, when I’m here,” Sebastian said and touched his fingers to a door. “Yours is here.” He moved past his room, then opened the next door. The space was half the size of his. Besides a couple of crates and dust, nothing occupied the room. “There’s a basic bathroom in the corner. Drop your bag. I’ll show you to the storage rooms.” Adam turned in a circle. The light from the bare bulb that hung from the center of the ceiling stretched to the corners of where floor met wall and seemed to lose wattage as it crawled up the vertical surface, leaving the ceiling’s corners in darkness.
