Chapter 2

Chapter Two: Meeting other so-called ‘juice banks”. — Third Person’s Point of View Today might be Arth’s last day. “So this is what my life has become.” She mumbled to herself as she got dragged by the two royal guards inside the room. In an instant, her mind drifted off to the life that she has back in Zeindall Kingdom. Usually she would see the bright day that was way different from the atmosphere in Vladyn Kingdom. Everyday in her life, she is excited by the very fact of waking up and seeing the wonders of the place that she used to live in. Looking back to the 20 years of her life that she spent in the House Wfauzhle, she had always been the princess that they always loved and adored. Despite her kickass personality, Arth was also friendly. All of their maids, cooks, and even royal guards admired her. True to her title, she was a princess that any other kingdom would have dreamt of. She will constantly visit the villagers and ask their people if they need any help and she will do her best in order to offer them service. Even if that meant that she had to do some labor, Arth would happily do it with a smile on her face. Which is why the villagers were always fond of her endearing personality. There was not much of a regret in the life she had lived since Arth knew that she lived her life to the fullest knowing that she had done a lot of good deeds to most of the people in the kingdom. However, she still did not want to perish yet. Arth still has a lot of things she wanted to experience. Living a long life along with her family in the Zeindall Kingdom. Most especially, she still wants to marry Prince Henrick of House Kairelle. Arth craved to have a family of her own and shower them with nothing but care and love. It would be unfortunate if all of those would just vanish into thin air due to the fact that she’s a blood slave to a vampire prince. “I swear to the gods, Arden. If this is some kind of another ruse, I am going to tell Czar about it!” Arth screamed on top of her lungs as she wriggled in the two guards' hold again. The guard on his left deeply sighed, getting really annoyed with the mortal but as soon as he caught her words, his brows furrowed. “Who are you talking about? There is no one named Arden or Czar here.” He informed her. Arth snorted, “Act all you want. I’m certain that Arden is behind all of this childish scheme. He even gave you freaking fangs to make it seem realistic.” She let out a laugh, almost like a maniacal one. “I bet you are both having a difficult time with it already. You can take it off, I will not tell Arden.” Confused, the two royal guards eyed Arth with a knitted forehead and the other one even tilted his head slightly as he could not quite grasp what the mortal in front of her was babbling about. “This one is bonkers.” One of them muttered, making both of them laugh in unison. On the other hand, it was Arth’s turn to be confused. “What are you two laughing about?” She questioned, challenging them. Arth had always been the type of woman that never backed out on anything even if there is some posing danger that comes along with the action that she is about to take. Regardless of having these two guards holding her, she is no way near being frightened if ever they would pose any damage to her. She will surely fight back. “You are in a state of denial.” The guard answered in a very serious tone as they stopped in their tracks, before fully entering the lobby where other juice banks are located. Both of them were intimidating as soon as Arth saw them earlier in the so-called dungeon but she did not pay any attention to it. Now, their facial expressions have changed to a much scarier one. “It is clear that you still think that you are in the Mortal Realm. However, you are not. This is Vladyn Kingdom and vampires are real.” He elaborated as his voice was stern. Partly enough, it was true. For Arth couldn’t even understand what was happening. She woke up in some kind of a cell in a dungeon and the people inside it told her that they were in some kind of vampire kingdom? Everything was just all too sudden for her that she couldn’t believe it. The moment that they both received a call on the earpiece that they were both wearing, they immediately let go of Arth and then pushed her to enter the lobby. “Please stuff yourself with a lot of food. It would really be beneficial to Prince Jaeden. We will be back to come and get you.” He paused, wiping off invisible dirts on his hands as if holding Arth had irked him for the longest time. “We will still escort you to Prince Jaeden’s room once the meeting is adjourned. Also, I hope you lived a joyful life.” He continued and then harshly closed the door in front of her. As soon as the massive door closed with a thud, Arth quickly pivoted her. There was a long buffet table full of a variety of foods, drinks, and even sweets. All of a sudden her stomach was rumbling like crazy. However, there was a pause from her. Seemingly like she was hesitant to take a taste. Before she could even take a move, a voice came from somewhere. “You can eat anything. It is not poisoned.”
