As the train rumbles over the tracks, I stare at my reflection in the window. The deed is done. I should see satisfaction on my countenance, staring back at me. Instead, in spite of my best efforts, I see a touch of regret. I shift my gaze over to another reflection, one remarkably similar to mine.
“Why the long face, Esma?” I ask.
