I spend two more hours at Rockberry’s, making sketches of the room, trying to notice anything that appears out of place. I question the servants. No one saw a she-wolf arrive, so the only way she could have entered was if one of the Rockberry brothers admitted her.
My next step is to see if I can find another she-wolf who’s been taken advantage of. It’s always possible that she isn’t of the high packs. I’ll have to give more scrutiny to Rockberry’s papers and documents. Some clue might be hidden within them. I’ll also talk with Evangeline. She’s been of little help when it came to Elisabeth Newmoon, but she might know of another she-wolf.
But before I move forward with the investigation, I want to see Eden again. I want to comfort and reassure her. I also intend to ask for her ha
