Chapter 1: The Beginning The wind howled like a wounded beast across the endless white desert.The research team's helicopter sliced through the icy air, approaching the remote Arctic station — the last outpost of humanity in this forgotten land. Inside the helicopter, Dr. Aarav Mehra looked out of the window, his eyes fixed on the endless stretch of snow and ice.Beside him, Sia Kapoor adjusted her thick jacket, trying to stay warm.Karan Malhotra, the team's engineer, checked his equipment one last time, his hands steady despite the cold. "We're finally here," Aarav said, his voice filled with both excitement and nervousness. The pilot, an old, rugged man named Rick, shouted over the noise, "Prepare for landing! It's not going to be smooth!" The helicopter shuddered violently as it touched down on the frozen ground.As the team stepped out, a sharp, bone-chilling wind greeted them, biting through their heavy clothes. Ahead of them stood the Arctic Research Facility, a collection of metallic structures half-buried in snow. It looked abandoned, almost haunted. "This place... it feels empty," Sia whispered.
