Judy looked at Michal with confusion and snatched the letter from her.

She opened the letter and read it. She was surprised when she saw the promotion letter.

Yes, she was promoted as personal assistant to the president. Now she could connect all and everything made sense. That's why John had told Roy to announce to the media the vacancy of the head of the marketing department. She was happy and excited, but the next moment, she became sad when she remembered the kiss.

" Hello madam, please stop dreaming and do your work or you will be u know very well about our president. So be a good girl and be responsible." Michal was continuously pulling Judy's leg. But Judy didn't listen to her.

Michal was about to talk more about it, but she got an important phone call and went outside.

Judy came out of her trance after hearing the phone call sound. She decided to keep her thoughts aside and began to do her file works. That day finished very quickly before she realized it. She was really tired because of her workload.

At home

She felt very heavy and her head was aching very badly. She refreshed herself very quickly and sat on the sofa. She fell asleep asap in a sitting posture.

In a flower garden

A young girl was plucking the flowers and singing a song. Her face was glowing in the sunshine and she looked not less than a princess even with a cheap dress. She forgot the world fully and sang the song wholeheartedly by closing her eyes. She seemed to be enjoying the song from the bottom of her heart. She finished the song and opened her eyes. She realized that she had been there for a long time. She became panicked that she would be punished if she was delayed to reach her residence.

She was about to turn and collided with someone. She didn't expect this and lost her balance. Before she fell on the floor, two strong arms caught her tightly and saved her from falling. She got afraid and hugged the person tightly. Her eyes were closed whole the time.

On the other side, that person was admiring her cuteness when she was afraid. He lost himself in her beauty and protecting her with his arms from falling. He was also looked like a prince. He was wearing wealthy clothes and precious jewels. He was perfect in every angle and looked most handsome.

She was about to open her eyes and look into the person but she heard someone open the door suddenly and open her eyes. She saw Mark who was standing in front of her with a puzzled look. For some time, she was confused. Later, she realized that she had been sleeping on the sofa and had a dream.

"hey, why are you sleeping on the sofa? Were you waiting for me?" Mark asked while taking a water bottle from the refrigerator. But he got Only silence as the answer.

He turned towards her and saw her pale and blank face. He felt something wrong.

He came and sat next to Judy.

"What happened? Is everything alright?" Mark asked her with concern in his eyes.

Judy just nodded her head as no and told him about what happened in the company except the kiss.

Mark was silently listening to her and said happily, "Congratulations, my dear little sister. I am so happy for my little princess. You will get promoted more in the future. I know you will work hard,” he was truly happy.

But Judy was silent and thinking about something. Mark saw her worried face and tried to make her normal.

"You know well princess, that you deserve this position. You can't get a job so easily in London. So think positively and all is good." Mark continued to cheer her up.

Judy nodded her head again with a smile and asked him "any improvement in your investigation?

Mark made a disappointed face and said " not yet" and sighed.

"I remember that why we shifted to this city and we will surely find out the whole truth, please don't worry and never lose your hopes," he continued and tapped her shoulder with concern.

Judy didn't want to make him tenser. So he smiled and nodded her head positively this time. Both gave each other a good night hug and went to their respective rooms.

Judy thought in her mind "Who asked Mark to come at this time? I would have seen the face if he came a few minutes later. But who is that girl? What's that place? Oh, God! So many confusions."

"Judy, please go to sleep. It's just a dream. Don't think too much and confuse yourself. Your focus must be on your mission." She tried to convince herself and tried to sleep

She could hardly sleep again with those thoughts even though she was damn tired.

Next day in R.K groups of company

John had told Roy that he would be absent from the company for one week and asked him to handle all the meetings. Therefore Roy had come a little bit earlier. He was preparing for a virtual meeting at the Conference Hall. John had asked him to tell Judy about all her duties and responsibilities. But there was no sign of Judy in the company.

"I don't know what's going on in both minds. But I am so happy with the changes in John's life. I should talk with my future sister-in-law, Judy first," Roy thought in his mind.

He was about to phone Judy and he heard someone knocking on his room door. He asked the person to come in and that was Judy.

Judy came inside and greeted Roy.

"Good morning, sir," Judy said with a smile.

"Good morning" Roy replied and continued "Miss. Brown, our president won't be present at the company for a week. He asked me to tell you about your works. So shall we discuss?"

When Judy heard that the president won't come for a week, she was much relieved and confused at the same time. She was guilty and awkward about the kiss, so she was not ready to face him very soon. But she wondered if John also felt the same way and tried to avoid her.

"Thank God, I can work peacefully for one week," she was thinking in her mind.

Roy who understood Judy's mind smiled thinking about the romantic kiss and asked her to have a seat.

Judy who was in her thoughts came out of the trance and took her seat.

They began to discuss the work and the time was passing very fast.

Roy looked at the watch and realized that it had passed lunchtime.

"Miss. Brown, forgive me for making you work at your lunchtime. I didn't realize how time went so fast," Roy said with an apologetic look.

"It's ok sir, my thoughts are the same. I will go and have my lunch, no problem sir," Judy said with a smile and took the necessary files to leave the place.

Roy wanted to ask her something but hesitated for a minute. Judy understood this and asked, "sir anything else?"

"Miss. Brown, if you don't mind shall we have our lunch together?" Roy asked.

Judy didn't expect this but she was smart enough to guess the intention.

Judy had been working in the company for more than one month. She had heard many things about Roy from her friend, Michal. Michal used to tell that Mr.Roy was kind of a playboy and very flirtatious. But he never behaved like that with her. He behaved very respectively and friendly. So she didn't deny his invitation.

"Sir, it's ok. You don't have to feel awkward. We will have our lunch together." Judy said with a smile as usual.

Roy nodded his head happily and they went to Roy's office to have their lunch.

Judy had brought some lunch from home. So she offered her lunch to him. Roy happily accepted it and had it. Both were having their lunch silently. Roy was the one who broke it first.

"Your food is very tasty. I didn't know that you are such a wonderful cook," Roy said with a smile.

Judy said, "thank you, sir. I learned cooking from my mother, but this is my new recipe. I am preparing for a cooking competition, so I thought to try some new recipes,” and continued eating.

"That's wonderful. Are your parents staying with you? Roy asked her even though he already knew everything. He wanted to know how much comfortable she is with him because he started to think of her as his sister. Both of them had lost their parents. That’s also the main reason for his exception behavior from others towards Judy

" No sir, they are dead in a car accident that happened a few years ago. I lost my whole family," Judy said trying to hide her emotions.

"I'm sorry," Roy said with a guilty look.

Judy gave a nod and saw some of her food are leftover. so she decided to parcel it and take it home.

When Roy saw this, he asked her to give the parcel to him, “shall I take them to my home?”

"Sir, I will cook for you another day, if you want. It's leftover food," Judy said nervously.

“It’s okay. Many times, I used to eat some food for lunch and dinner. You know what Judy, I always wished there was someone for me to cook food or talk to me when I reach home tiredly from work. I’m also like you, we both have lost our parents, but you are so lucky to have such a lovely brother like Mark,” he looked very lonely.

“Sir I understand your emotions, but there is nobody alone in this world. You have your best friend. You have me also like your sister,” she smiled at him.

Roy was touched by her simple words.

“Thank you, your words mean a lot to me,” Roy could not control his tears.

“Sir, please don’t cry,” she was nervous.
