On the stage
The host came to the center to start the program.
“Good morning ladies and gentlemen. I cordially welcome you to our show. This is based on a cooking competition. This is for the talents who are going to shine as bright as the stars tomorrow. This competition will be held in three levels and today is the first round. First I want to welcome our honorable judges. The hall echoed with the clapping. The judges came to the stage and waved their hands to the audience.
“Next I want to welcome our talented participants for this talent show,” the host continued.
Again sound raised with clapping so and disappeared slowly.
Judy looked towards the crowd and saw Mark who was clapping and whistling for her enthusiastically.
She spotted Jack also there. He gave a thumb up to her from the crowd. She smiled at him and focused on the anchor.
“The participants are given some numbers in front of their desks. Every participant will be blindfolded and let to choose one number. The buzzer will start after that. You will be given forty-five minutes to present your dishes. There will be no additional time at any cost. Shall we start? Let’s encourage our contestants with our energetic clippings again,” The host said and the crowd joined her again in clapping.
“There will be boxes arranged in a cart. They should choose the one that was marked by the number that they have chosen. There will be some ingredients in it. You should cook only using those items,” The anchor said.
Soon the buzzer started and all of the contestants were blindfolded quickly. Judy was blindfolded and asked to take a number. She had taken no 6. When she went to the catheter was something unexpected.
“I don’t know to cook any special dishes with bitter guard and honey. What to do now?” she thought.
Judy was nervous and frightened at the same time. But she looked at the ground.
“You can’t give up without fighting Judy. Come on, you can do it,” Somehow she managed to do it. Something clicked in her mind and she began to proceed quickly.
It was almost time to stop the work. She managed to finish the topping when she heard the buzzer sound.
She sighed heavily and smiled confidently at the audience.
The host came to the center again and said, “ wow the smell which is coming from all the dishes makes my salivary gland work better. I hope you guys are also waiting for the result. First lets about k the experience from our contestants,” she said and began to ask one by one.
It was Judy's turn.
“Miss Brown, tell me about your experience,” she asked.
“First of all, I would like to thank the director of the show for allowing me to participate in this cooking competition. This is the first time I participate in such a grant competition. Next, I would like to thank my chef for encouraging me to take part in this competition,” she said and looked d Jack who was smiling at her from the crowd. I was nervous because I didn’t know how to use bitter guard and honey together for cooking. But I somehow managed to do my best. Thank you,” she finished her speech.
“Now it's time for our judges to taste the recipes prepared by our talented contestants and give marks to them,” the host said and the judges came to do their job.
All faces were full of tension, but Judy was smiling confidently.
One of the judges saw it and came to her.
He took a spoon full of her dish and tasted it. Judy was looking at his face carefully, but he didn’t show any sign. After everyone finished their jobs, one of them came to the center and said, We could see that each and everyone has potential and talent to become a successful chef, but unfortunately it’s a competition. So, we have to select only eight contestants out of twelve.
He began to read the names one by one.
“Last but not least,” he paused for a moment
