Jack who was silently listening to her got touched by her innocence and love.
He could not tell anything but Starr her with more love and affection.
When Judy did not get any responses she looked at him and got puzzled when she saw him looking at her lovingly.
"Jack, are you alright?" She called him repeatedly. Finally, she flicked her fingers in front of his face and brought him back to the present.
Jack felt a little embarrassed and tried to change the topic.
"It was very touching. Does your mother teach you cooking now also?" He wiped a teardrop from his cheek and asked her.
Judy was silent for a moment and said, "No, I am not that lucky. Both of my parents passed away in an accident." She gave an empty smile.
"I am sorry that I reminded your painful past too," he felt very guilty.
"It's okay, Jack. It has been a long time. Mark never makes me feel their absence in my life," she told and went to look at the dish on the cooker.
She took a plate and put the dish on it. She decorated it with some leaves and lemon.
"Please have something and review," she handed over the spoon and fork to Jack asked.
Jack took a mouthful of a spoon. Judy was eagerly waiting for his reaction.
Jack tried to figure out how to express his feeling.
“Is it that much worse?” she asked him innocently.
He widened his eyes as signaling very delicious.
Judy got happy and smiled broadly. Jack took another spoon and looked at happy face Judy while tasting it carefully.
“I hope that we will cook together at our home to get, Judy,” he thought.
Another two hours went by discussing the competition.
Jack volunteered to drop her in her home today also, but she refused him with respect.
On the competition day
Judy had arrived at the competition with Mark. There was a huge crowd in the hall.
Judy looked very tense and was walking here and there.
“Judy, my sweetie,” someone hugged her from behind.
Judy who did not expect it was shaken for a moment and wondered who was that.
“Ahh,” she almost shouted in fear and got herself free from that hug.
When she saw the person, she was relieved “Come on Neha, don’t cause me a heart attack. I almost died from your sudden attack," she said and took a deep breath.
"I am sorry if I made u panic. I saw you very tense, so I just wanted to comfort you. That is why I hugged you like your close friend. I am sorry," Neha said and gave a guilty look.
“Come on, of course, you are my close friend. Let’s go inside. It’s time to be on stage, ” Judy just smiled and went inside with her.
