The Search Begins

528 Words
Going home would be useless I already knew that and besides it's not like my family much bothered about me. So, I left a note for them that I won't be returning until I find a proper job for myself. At least this would buy me some time. I knew that searching on the internet about the assassin would be useless. I looked at the card Raven game me. I looked at it with a magnifying glass to see if there was something. I even tore the outer layer of the card to find if there was something inside. But, I didn't get anything. I had seven days to find the ring, the time was less by deep inside I knew it doesn't matter whether the time limits were a week or a month cause I didn't care about my family much. From, the beginning of my childhood everything was boring for me. I never like my surrounding, my people or anything. Everything was a drag for me. More than to save my family I wanted to find the ring because I kind of enjoyed what was happening. I went to the nearby coffee shop. I ordered the regular coffee. The cafe was full of people and the noise was pissing me off. After a while ago the waitress came with my coffee. "The area is too crowded, isn't it?", she said while keeping my coffee on the table. "Yeah, the noise is killing me", I replied. " I know how you feel, I use to feel the same way when I joined", "just close your eyes and meditate", she said. I did as she said. There's some magic in meditation, few minutes of meditation can change your mind. When you close your eyes, it enhances your listening ability. When you close your ears it enhances your smelling ability. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. As I closed my eyes and tried to focus, though my eyes were closed I do know what was happening in my surrounding. It was like my ears were moving from one place to another. From, table number one to the child crying behind me. From, that child to the waiter saying " here's your bill sir." Everything was so clear that though the noise was the same as before. But, I calm totally. Now, I was calm and much better. I saw two teenage boys arguing about the picture of a jaguar painted on the wall. One boy said it was Jaguar and the other said it was a leopard. I looked at their argument it was kind of fun to watch both trying to convince each other. They were stuck on their argument. After a while, one boy took out his phone. He scanned the photo of the picture to know what it was. Suddenly, my mind blinked. That's it! that's what I need to do! I took out my phone and scanned the picture of the mountain on the card. The internet showed me one match. The picture matched with one of the mountains. The Kira Mountain was in the Wrangel Island on The East Siberian Sea.
