On the next day.
Lunch time in the canteen of the school, me and Yoona were eating our meals. Professors had their meeting this afternoon so that explained why I'm here with my best friend. Well, I kinda missed Yoona. We scarcely hangout and I feel bad about it. I should make it up to her, we should, at least schedule a day that we can hangout every week.
"We can always have our quality time every Friday night," Yoona recommended as she took a big bite of her hamburger.
I agreed nodding my head. Friday night is perfect so I can spend my time with Tiffany every weekend. Anyway, she will gonna tutor me every Saturday as she set it up.
Then Yoona glanced at the teacher's table and leaned to me "You know, Mrs. Hwang seems to be happy. She looks very in love the way she teaches us," she whispered as if it was forbidden to talk about our professors. Anyway, she was just saying what she noticed.
I blushed glancing at the teacher's table, Tiffany was already there staring at me. She gave me her sweetest eye smile and I blushed furiously.
"W-why would you say t-that?" I inquired Yoona.
"Like that," she glanced at Tiffany once more. "Her smile is different. It's so sweet and bright. Also, her aura is very energetic and optimistic. Maybe she had s*x with her fiance," she nonchalantly guessed.
I grimaced just thinking about that, I cringed and my heart was burning with fury.
"What? Professor T is not like that. Shut it Yoong," I countered.
"Professor T? Wow, you call Mrs. Hwang like that?" Yoona suspiciously looked at me.
"Wh-what? Yes, Professor T. She allowed me to call her like that. Wh-what's wrong?" I asked slight edgy.
"Nothing's wrong," she simply answered then took a big bite of her burger again.
"What?" I scoffed.
She giggled as she was chewing the food in her mouth then she swallowed "Because I think you're her favorite student."
"Favorite? Nah," I denied.
Yoona is quite observant. She's noticing it. We should be careful. But wait, she's my best friend she would never snitch us. I know her, we can trust her. I will tell everything to her when me and Tiffany are officially dating. I mean, when Tiffany already ended her relationship with Minho. It sounded harsh and dreadful but it will happen. I'm confident with that because I trust Tiffany.
In a relationship, trust is really important because it's hard to gain and regain even if you love the person.
Also, I'm thinking, why would you stay in a relationship knowing that you really don't love the person? And since they are not married yet, they should end it because in the future, it would never work. Well, that's only my opinion. Relationship should workout with both parties because it won't work if it's just one. Y'know, one sided love. That's the painful truth about relationship. One maybe fall out of love but at least, don't cheat. Confront and face the problem. Tell what you need to tell and do what you need to do.
You can't force anything especially feelings. Love, trust and forgiveness takes time to give and it's hard to just give right? You can tell people you love them, you trust them or you forgive them but in your heart, do you really do? Still, there's a bit of guilt in your heart because it takes long time to be fully recovered, once your heart has been damaged.
Cheating is the least thing I would do in my relationship. Also, I don't want others to cheat because of me. That's absurd and I'm not kind of person. Obviously, it reflects my action which I don't want Tiffany to cheat on her fiance.
I respect Minho, even if we confirmed that me and Tiffany love each other, we can't just go through our boundaries. She's still engaged and she needs to settle it down first before we can actually start our love story.
"You are her favorite, I'm sure of that. Maybe because you really suck at English subject, she pity you," Yoona bantered then winked at me.
I acted hurt as I hammered my chest using my fist, just few times then I stuck my tongue out. I saw Tiffany giggled with my action as I glanced at her.
"You're so lucky," Yoona pouted and I just shrugged. Sure I am lucky knowing that the woman I love loves me too.
All of sudden, Seolhyun popped up of nowhere and sat next to me. I turned to her and she was pouting so I raised my right eyebrow "What's wrong?" I asked her.
She turned to me with her puppy eyes "Mrs. Hwang talked to me about the tutoring session and she told me that I won't be your tutor anymore since you two are living together, she will just help you in return because you're her assistant."
I looked at Yoona and her eyes went round, she was surprised to hear that. She wasn't supposed to hear that, not yet. I know she will be mad because I didn't tell her about this stuff.
Why would Tiffany tell that to Seolhyun? We should be discreet.
"What?" Yoona shrieked. "You're living together?" She asked in disbelief.
I gulped hard.
"Yes. Mrs. Hwang told me, she's the best friend of Taeyeon's older sister," Seolhyun answered for me.
I slumped my shoulders.
"Mrs. Hwang is Hyoyeon's best friend huh?" Yoona bitterly stated with her bland face.
I bit my lower lip "Y-yes," I admitted and bowed my head. "She will stay in our house until she find an apartment. I was also shocked about it because Hyoyeon never mentioned her before."
Yoona crossed her arms then glared at me "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't want others to know because I know it will be an issue. I hope this will just be a secret," I replied ashamed.
"So you don't trust me?" Yoona pointed out.
I looked up to her "Of course I trust you, I was about to tell you but I was waiting for the right moment. Please Yoong, don't be mad," I pleaded and gave her puppy eyes. I don't want Yoona to be mad at me.
"Cheer up!" Seolhyun intervened as she put her arm around my shoulders. "I'm sure Taeyeon didn't purposely hide it. Don't make it a big deal Yoona, it will just give you a heavy heart."
I pouted as I stared at Yoona, begging her not to be mad.
"This cute little midget! Look how cute she is," Seolhyun playfully said as she pinched my cheek.
Yoona instantly giggled and smiled "Midget. Yes she is."
I scowled "I'm not a midget!" I whined. "I'm not tall, I know but I'm not that midget!" I argued and huffed.
"You're so cute Taeng," Seolhyun giggled and hugged me tightly.
"Fine, I won't be mad but next time, tell me everything. I feel like you're being distant and I feel useless as a best friend," Yoona sadly revealed her feelings.
I held her hand on the table and squeezed it "I'm sorry if you feel like that Yoong, I'll make it up to you. I promise," I settled stroking her hand.
"Okay," Yoona smiled then she put her hand on top of my hand and squeezed it. I smiled widely then she said "Midget."
My smile disappeared as I snatched my hand from her "Ya! Am not!" I lightly slapped her hand on the table. I groaned while Seolhyun and Yoona laughed at me.
Seolhyun pecked me on cheek and it made me uncomfortable.
I glanced at Tiffany and I saw her gripping the poor chopsticks, her glare was scary. I smiled at her but she just looked away.
Geez. I should be ready for later cuz I need to deal with her.
After school, we went straight home. Tiffany was obviously pissed and I didn't bother to talk to her, not until we entered the apartment.
"Pani? What's wrong?"
Tiffany snorted "Really Taeyeon?" She sarcastically asked then she put her bag on the couch.
I sighed.
"Seolhyun was being clingy and you just allowed her to kiss you," she accused.
"I didn't, I just... I didn't know that she will kiss me and she's clingy as a friend. She's always like that, a sweet girl," I defended. I know I kindled her gut.
Tiffany gritted her teeth "So you will just allow her? I hate seeing her clinging like a girlfriend to you while everyone in the campus thinks that you two are together. I hate that I can't call you mine and I can't show my love for you!" She vented her disappointment.
I quickly hugged her "I'm sorry... I just want you to trust me. It's just nothing to me, Seolhyun is a friend."
"But she takes it different Tae, she loves you," she sobbed.
"Okay... I will talk to her tomorrow. Please don't be mad at me," I put my chin on her shoulder and hugged her tightly.
"I'm not mad but I'm jealous. I'm really jealous of Seolhyun because she can just do everything and show everybody how much she's into you," she muttered.
"I love you..." I sincerely said.
"I love you too, Tae," she slowly pulled away to face me.
I wiped her tears and smiled "That all matters Pani."
She nodded "Anyway... Minho will come here this weekend, maybe it's the right time to talk to him," she informed then she stepped back from me.
I just nodded.
"And do you think I will just let it pass?" My brows connected as I stared at her, puzzled. She smirked "You'll get your punishment!"
Punishment? I hope she will not torture me.
I swallowed silently.
Abruptly, someone barged in "What punishment? You know I can hear you outside. Is my sister here misbehaving at school?"
We both turned our heads and saw Hyoyeon holding her stuffs. She was smiling at us and the corners of my lips curved up.
"Hyoyeon!" Me and Tiffany said in unison.
"Yes, that's me. I'm back!"
Yay.
