Rude

Me and Yoona were in the canteen, eating our lunch together as she sat across the table. I was kind of dazed and confused because of what Tiffany said to me. Yeah, Tiffany. I can call her by her name when we're alone, I feel special indeed. And it's not that awkward to me that I call her by just her first name. Should I be guilty of being like this towards my professor? But she wants to be my friend, I smiled just thinking of that thought. Yoona waved curiously her hand in front of my face "A won for you thoughts?" I made face "Um, it should be a penny for your thoughts," I corrected her. "I know but we're in Korea so I just used won. I think you're not really bad at English subject and what are you thinking? You seem delighted about your imagination," she teased as she waggled her eyebrows. "Um... nothing," I lied. I can't just say I'm thinking about Tiffany. Our professor. "Hmm," she nodded but I know she wasn't convinced with my answer. "You know, Mrs. Hwang is damn hot. If she's not engaged, I would hit on her," she nonchalantly said. She just burst my bubble. What? She just said that like that with an ease? I can't do that. "But yeah, she's a piece of line. A very line woman. Y'know what I mean?" I nodded. "Straight," we both said in chorus. Me and Yoona were very alike, we seemed to be cast in the same mold. I rolled my eyes, I don't like to attach myself with straight girls. They will make you fall in love then the ending is they just like you as friend. Or some of them are homophobes. I don't hate them, we have different perspective so I respect them. As the golden rule said,"Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You." It is the idea that also called the law of reciprocity. And one of the most interesting things I've learned in Philosophy, common sense. "Speaking of the devil, she's here," Yoona leaned forward as she told me about it. It was like we were like spies. I looked at the teacher's table and saw Tiffany there with other professors eating their lunch. Tiffany scanned the whole canteen and her eyes landed on me, we stared at each other for a moment then she broke it as she averted her eyes from me. "Gosh, did you see that? She looked at our direction!" Yoona exclaimed excitedly. I mentally smirked. Yeah right, she looked at me. "If she look again this way, I would die," Yoona exaggeratedly shrieked. "You're ridiculous," I commented as I took a spoonful of my meal. "Um hey," someone greeted. Yoona and I looked up at the girl standing next to our table. It was Kim Seolhyun. "Can I join you guys?" Seolhyun timidly requested as she was holding the tray of her food. "Of course, sure," Yoona agreed in no time. It was also fine to me, no biggie. Actually, I find Seolhyun as an amazing girl. She's not a stuck up person because even if she's famous, smart and rich, she stays humble and friendly. Everyone likes her, everyone wants to be her friend. Should I be thankful that we're friends? Maybe I should be. Seolhyun sat next to me and Yoona eyed me like she was saying that You're so lucky that she likes you. I didn't want to be that conceited so I had to bite my tongue. "So, how's your Summer guys?" Seolhyun asked. "It was so fun, I had enjoyed it. Me and my family went to Jeju for a month. And this little s**t," Yoona pointed at me "was a loafer to decline my offer. She just stayed home for the whole Summer. Imagine that, she was just home the entire Summer vacation! Geez." Yoona dramatically said then she sipped her coke. I just shrugged and continued to eat, I love my bed so much. Seolhyun giggled as she stared at me, I could feel it. "How bout you?" Yoona asked Seolhyun back. "Oh um..." She awkwardly looked away from me then looked at Yoona. "Me and my mom spent our Summer in Vegas." Rich kid. I told myself. "Whoaaa, daebak. Was it beautiful there?" Yoona asked amused. "Yes but I didn't enjoy it there. I missed Korea when I was there," then Seolhyun glanced at me then stared down at her food. "Aww. Only Korea? How about us? You didn't miss me and Taeyeon?" Yoona playfully asked. Seolhyun looked up at me and Yoona, she looked guilty "Um no, of course I did miss you guys. I swear, I missed you and Taeyeon..." she bashfully said. "And I'm happy to see you guys again," she gulped. "We missed you too, right Taeyeon?" Yoona slyly smiled. I nodded "Yep, and I'm also happy to see you." "R-really?" Seolhyun's face flushed. "Yes," I sincerely said. Seolhyun smiled widely and her face brightened, she didn't say anything but just smiled. I glanced at the teacher's table and I saw Tiffany was glaring at our direction. Her face was serious but I couldn't really read it. It was like she was putting a mask to hide her emotions. "What's your last subject Seolhyun?" Yoona asked as she took a bite of her chicken nugget. "Journalism Workshop," Seolhyun answered innocently. "Is Mrs. Hwang your professor there?" Yoona asked again. Seolhyun nodded "I guess... the new professor, Tiffany Hwang? Oh she's married? She looks young." "I knew it, we have the same class. And no, she's not married yet but engaged," Yoona glanced at the teacher's table and admired Tiffany. "Okay. Um, did she inform you about tutoring session?" Seolhyun asked me. "Yes, you will be my tutor. Please take care of me," I playfully bowed at her. Seolhyun seemed to be giddy about it "Okay I'll do my best to help you." "Promise?" "I promise," she compromised. "Thank you Seol," I beamed at her. "Aishh... my eyes," Yoona whined. "Stop flirting in front of me?" "F-f-flirting??" Seolhyun became tensed. "Don't mind her," I put my hand on Seolhyun's shoulder and she stiffened. Seolhyun stared at my hand on her shoulder, I glanced at teacher's table and saw Tiffany was glaring at me. Geez. I awkwardly moved my hand away from Seolhyun and nervously laughed. We continued to eat our lunch then headed to our classes after. It was boring and the time flies very fast. All I could think was Tiffany, I'm glad because I have two subjects with her. I will always see her, every morning lunch, and afternoon before I go home. Besides, I'm her assistant. Everything is awesome right? When I went to my last subject, Tiffany was already there sorting papers on her table. I scanned the room then saw Yoona and Seolhyun waving at me. There was a vacant seat between them, they saved me a seat. They're really good friends. I took the seat between them and pulled out my Journalism book. "Where do you want to have our tutoring session?" Seolhyun asked me. I shrugged "Wherever. We can do it at your house or ours or in the library." Seolhyun smiled "Okay wherever we want depends on our mood, I really don't mind." "Thank you," I sweetly smiled back at her. She's really kind. Tiffany coughed and she got all our attention "Okay class, I think everyone's here so let's start the lesson." Tiffany was serious and stringent when she began the class, it was so sexy. I swear. Gosh. I stared at her but I couldn't focus on what she was saying, I was drooling and obviously checking her out. Everything around me receded from my view and all I could see was her perfect body. The way it sways when she walks and I only hear the clicking sounds of her heels. The way her lips move when she talks, those gorgeous eyes that roams around and those perfect long locks that bounces when she flips it. Every move she makes was enchanting the s**t out of me. What this woman did to me? f**k her. I was back to reality when I saw everyone standing and left the room. The class was over, an hour and thirty minutes was over? That quick? It felt like five minutes to me. I stood and fixed my things. "Taeyeon?" Tiffany called me. "Yes, Mrs. Hwang?" "You stay here, remember you have detention?" She reminded me and I nodded. "Good luck little biatch, see you tomorrow," Yoona leaned forward to me and kissed my cheek. "Okay little s**t, drive safe," Yoona smiled and nodded. "Um, maybe let's start the tutoring session this weekend?" Seolhyun recommended. "Sure, you too, drive safe." I said as I waved my hand. Unexpectedly, Seolhyun leaned forward to me and kissed the side of my lips. "See you tomorrow," she blushed then rushed out of the room. Yoona winked at me then followed Seolhyun leaving me astounded. I was holding the side of my lips where Seolhyun kissed me. Did she just do that?? "I asked you to stay because I want you to know when will you assist me and after that, you can go home," Tiffany told me. I reluctantly walked to her. I stood in front of her across the table. "So, you will stay here at lunch time. You will help me to check papers and record all the grades," she indicated clearly. "Okay," I nodded absentmindedly then she started to talk again but I couldn't hear her. I was staring at her pink lips but I couldn't read it. I bit my lower lip and I wanted to taste those attractive lips of her. I was leaning forward as I mustered all the courage I have then kissed her, the kiss was amazing as I could feel her warm and tender lips but she pulled back quickly and her eyebrows drew together. She was shocked with what I did, likewise. "I-I... I..." I was speechless. I couldn't even say a word. "What the hell? Why did you do that?" She angrily asked. "You're so unbelievable Taeyeon! Why are you being like this? You're being rude! I allowed you to be my friend but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want! I'm not a lesbian, you are my student and most importantly, I'm engaged!" "I... I'm sorry Tiffany," was all I could say. I was hurt by her words but it was all true. "I take it back, it's really uncomfortable to hear my name from one of my students. It feels like you're being disrespectful to me. Now, let's just have student-teacher relationship. That is supposed to be," she affirmed as she roughly wiped her lips in disgust. I was trembling lightly, she didn't like the kiss. I swear my heart broke into pieces and perished. She left me no hope as my tears escaped from my eyes. I lowered my head and hid my face from her. "T-Taeyeon?" I heard Mrs. Hwang called me and her voice was worried. "Um..." "I'm sorry Mrs. Hwang, I don't know what possessed me to do that. If you don't have anything to say, I would like to ask if I can leave now?" I politely asked. "Taeyeon please..." She was about to move closer to me but I quickly bowed my head and ran out of the room. I wiped my tears as I strode in the hallway. I was hurt. Ashamed. Heart broken. I never felt this way before and it suffocates me. Fucking. s**t. ×××××
