Avangard: Russian-made hypersonic boost-glide missile system. It travels in speeds up to Mach 27, making it apparently invulnerable to existing systems. It is nuclear-capable.
B-2 Stealth Bomber: American-made strategic bomber with stealth technology. It can fly from U.S. bases to anywhere in the world within hours. It can carry 40,000 lbs of conventional and nuclear weapons.
Ballistic missile: A missile initially powered by rockets that then follows an unpowered trajectory arching upward before descending to its target. These missiles carry nuclear or conventional warheads.
Carrier strike group: A Navy operational formation that includes an aircraft carrier of approximately 70 fighter jets, a guided-missile cruiser, two warships, and a flotilla of six to ten destroyers and/or
