I'm Fake, Mr. Billionaire

 Rosalie was in her best mood all day long. She's working as the company president's secretary. It is a well-known company that expanded all the way abroad. She does not even know how she was immediately hired. "Any good news, Ms. Monteverde?" Mr. Williams asked, sipping his newly brewed coffee. "You look excited for some reason." "Oh no, sir. It's just that today is a special day for me." Rosalie replied, lowering her gaze as she felt her face turn crimson red. Is she too obvious that the president can even see through her emotion? Rosalie felt embarrassed. The truth is today is her boyfriend's birthday. She was super excited to surprise him on his special day. Rosalie is even planning to host a private birthday party for him. "Ha, ha, ha. Is that so." Mr. William said, making fun of her expression. "Ugh, this old man. Really!" Rosalie whispers silently. Rosalie was never flustered in front of her boss before. This is a bit new to her. She has been working as Mr. Williams's secretary for over two years already. For the past two years, he has shown his appreciation for her efforts. She has never embarrassed herself in front of Mr. Williams.  Mr. Williams praised Rosalie's confidence to handle unexpected situations in the company. He even regarded her as his own daughter. What a kind-hearted boss she has. How lucky she is. "Anyway, Ms. Monteverde did a great job on today's meeting as always."  "It's all thanks to your guidance, sir. Thank you!" Rosalie replied. As a polite and respectful employee, she even bowed her head 90 degrees. "All right, all right. Enough of those sugar-coated words of yours, Rosalie. I'll not hold on to your time already. Enjoy your date. See you tomorrow." He said, giving a meaningful wink. Rosalie blushed. She pretended to fix her things, to avoid another round of teasing from her boss.  "Goodbye, sir. I'll see you tomorrow." Rosalie walked hurriedly out of the president's office. The moment she closed the door, she immediately touched her face. Her face returned to its normal temperament. Her phone rang. She took it out of her bag and looked at the caller. A bright smile appeared on Rosalie's beautiful face. It is a call from her boyfriend. With her sweet voice, Rosalie answered the call. "Hello, Nathan. Are you already on your way to the restaurant?" "I'm sorry, Rosy. Something came up from work. I'll be late. Can you wait for me, babe ?" Nathan replied with a worried voice. "Oh, that's too bad. But it's okay, babe. I'll wait for you. Just don't make me wait for too long. Mmmm." "Don't worry, babe. I'll directly go to the restaurant as soon as work is finished. I love you, babe. See you later, bye." "I love you too, babe." Nathan ended the call.  Rosalie can't hide her disappointment. Her smile immediately left her lips. The once bright face turned gloomy all of a sudden. Nathan Peters was Rosalie's classmate way back in college. He was the one who asked her out to be his girlfriend. But with  Rosalie's personality, she rejected him at first.  Nathan was not really bad in any aspect. He's handsome with a well-proportioned body. He has a nice personality. A lot of female university students had a crush on him.  Rosalie was not just into dating and commitment. She mainly focused on her studies. However, Nathan was so persistent that Rosalie gave him a chance.  They have been together for more than a year now. The relationship between the two was always strong. Anna, Rosalie's best friend, even called them the unshakeable couple.  Due to the sudden change of plans, Rosalie walked out of the company's building. She was tapping her phone, planning to call her best friend. But then, she decided to go to a coffee shop.  As expected, there are a lot of people in the coffee shop. Rosalie ordered a cup of black coffee with cream and sugar. She decided to sit on the far-end corner near the window. A lot of people were walking on the busy street.  The sun was about to set. A brightly red-orange painted the window, making Rosalie half close her eyes. It's a beautiful sight how the sun slowly disappears with its magnificent red-orange light. Soon, pitch-black started to envelop the whole city as if slowly entering the mouth of a giant monster.  "How thrilling!" Rosalie silently whispers. Rosalie was busy watching every person crossing the street when a familiar person caught her eyes. Her face brightened up. A smile is starting to form on her plump lips. She saw Nathan walking straight in the cafe's direction. Rosalie was about to stand up when she saw Nathan embrace a woman as soon as he saw her. He even kissed her on her lips. Rosalie knotted her forehead.  "Who is she?" Rosalie suddenly blurted out. She intently looked at the pair with burning eyes. Curiosity was plastered all over her face. Nathan and the woman entered the coffee shop holding hands. The two are both smiling at each other as if they are in a romantic relationship. "What's the meaning of this?" Rosalie whispers as she peeks at the two. As soon as Nathan and the woman walked in her direction, Rosalie hid. They sat a few seats away from her. Rosalie can hear the giggles of the woman which irritates her. She's talking in a squishy voice. "What did you tell her this time?" The woman asked Nathan, clinging her hands into his arm. Rosalie was listening with a frown on her face. " I told her I'll be late because I'm busy with work. You don't have to worry about her, babe. She doesn't know anything about us." Nathan said, kissing the woman's forehead. "I kind of pity her, babe." The woman replied with a fake tone. "You don't have to pity her, Margaret. It was just a bet. I don't even love her." "I know, Nath. I'm the one you love the most." The woman proudly said, planting a kiss on Nathan's cheek. Rosalie heard all of it. Her eyes are getting red. Beads of tears started to fall one after the other. With shaky hands, Rosalie wiped her tears away. She clenched her teeth tightly. Rosalie badly wanted to punch Nathan on his face. She did not expect that he was this kind of person, a bastard cheater. She was cheated on! She was fooled!
