23 Elsa is Missing

Lionel was still observing Elsa's strange romantic behavior with Bennet from outside, at which point one of his teammates arrived and distracted him with a conversation about the game:

"Larson was great in the final, I didn't think we could with that team, you know what our reputation as losers was". Said the boy, laughing.

"The team just lacked some discipline and leadership, there are great players who bring a lot of value to the group". Said Lionel.

"Thanks to you we discovered that before we considered ourselves as the worst or at least that's what Bennet told us in each training session". The boy said resignedly.

"You gave too much importance to that man; a leader isn’t the one who calls his companions garbage, but is the one who tries to make his virtues visible despite the circumstances". Reflected Lionel.

“You are very wise Larson I’m glad to be on your team. I can't wait for next season to embrace a new trophy”. He said excitedly.

"I'm anxious too, Larry". Larson replied, not sure if he would still be with them for the next season, as he didn’t want Elizabeth's search to go on for so long.

"This place is supremely luxurious; Bennet is indeed lucky". Larry continued conversing.

"The place is his father's, not his". Said Lionel.

"It's true, I wish I was the senator's son".

"You're funny Larry, be happy for what you have now".

Lionel was already bored by the conversation with his partner Larry, so he took the opportunity to direct his gaze back to the kitchen in order to see if Elsa and Bennet were still so romantic, to his surprise, no one was seen in the kitchen anymore, there was no sign of anyone there.

"Larry, I have to go to the bathroom, I'll catch up with the other team members in a while". Said Lionel hurriedly.

Lionel prepared to call Elsa on her cell phone to find out where she was, but she didn’t answer any of his calls, so Lionel went to the kitchen to look for her, on the way he met a couple of friends of Elsa's who asked them about her whereabouts, however, none of the girls gave him an account of where Elsa might be, nor had they answered his messages. Once inside the kitchen, Lionel found a bag that was familiar to him, it was Elsa's, he opened it and found all the girl's belongings, including her cell phone. So he kept looking for any clues as to the whereabouts of his protected, she couldn't have disappeared out of nowhere, Lionel was fearing that some enemy of Elsa's father had kidnapped her and was hurting her, if that was the case, the responsibility would be his because he couldn’t neglect her.

Suddenly Lionel observed the two glass cups in which Elsa and Bennet were drinking minutes before, he was very struck by the coloring of one of the drinks for it was a little whiter than the other; took each of the glasses and smelled their contents, immediately noticed the difference between them, the smell of one of them was familiar to him because in some missions in Frederic he was able to learn about the tactics of a criminal gang that supplied drugs to their victims through drinks and used a substance with a smell and coloration very similar to the drink that he had in his hands. He immediately deduced that Bennet had put that substance in Elsa's drink and that was why she had agreed to kiss the boy she had never liked before.

The next thing that Lionel had to find out was the place where Elsa was, he couldn’t waste much time because the integrity of the girl was in danger due to her maniac friend; It immediately occurred to Lionel to search for one of Bennet's closest friends in order to find out if he knew his whereabouts.

"Hey Freddy, have you seen Bennet?".

"Larson friend, I don't know where he is, I haven't seen him all night. I’ve called him several times but he doesn’t answer his phone”.

Lionel was getting desperate because nobody gave him the reason for Bennet and worried about Elsa's fate, he walked around the villa for a while and could see that Bennet's car was there, the boy shouldn’t be far away.

While Lionel continued his search, Bennet was already with Elsa in her room, he laid her on her bed because she was still very dizzy.

"Bennet ... where ... are we? I can't stand… stand up”. Said Elsa practically asleep.

"Don't worry, we are in my house, I'm taking care of you". Bennet told him while he stroked her hair and kissed her face.

After a while, Bennet began to caress Elsa's legs and kiss her chest, finally, he had the girl of his dreams how he wanted, he was about to take off the blue dress she was wearing that night when suddenly he felt a blow to his back that immediately knocked him down; it was Lionel, who had arrived just in time, was able to find Elsa's whereabouts when he saw that one of the lights in the rooms of the house was on.

"You're a damn fool, what are you doing to her?". Lionel yelled angrily as he continued to hit Bennet hard.

"Leave us unhappy, don't you see that we are going to give each other love". Bennet replied.

"DAMN PIECE OF s**t!". Lionel continued exalted. "YOU DRUGGED HER TO SLEEP WITH HER".

Bennet was silent because he was discovered by Lionel, however, as he could he tried to hit him, without success since Lionel was furious to see what the boy intended to do and hit him with great force, so much that he fractured the partition and his face was full of blood.

"Stop now…. Stop now”. Bennet shouted.

“I’m not going to stop; I must kill a criminal like you. You don't deserve to live”. Continued Lionel angrily.

After a few minutes, one of Bennet's friends entered the room because the scandal and the boy's laments were too strong.

"Larson, stop ... you're going to kill him". The boy shouted.

Lionel reflected a bit, he couldn’t commit a crime because that would cause his true identity to be discovered, so he stopped and went to check on Elsa's condition. At that moment, Bennet's friend proceeded to get the boy up and help him sit on a sofa in the room. Bennet looked unrecognizable because his face was stained with a lot of blood and his nose was too crooked, the scene was really creepy. Bennet's friend was amazed at how strong Lionel was, for had it not been for his interruption, perhaps Bennet would have been killed by Lionel.

On the other hand, Lionel came to check on Elsa.

"Lar ... son ... a ... re you?". Elsa recognized Lionel.

"Don't worry, I'll take you home so you can rest". Lionel said to Elsa to calm her down while putting on a coat.

Lionel loaded Elsa and took her to his car, where he gave her a little water and waited for the drug to pass a little so that she could return to her home.

"Where I am?". From one moment to the next Elsa rose exalted.

"We are heading to your house Elsa; it’s already late". Answered Lionel.

"Is the party over yet?". Elsa asked confused.

"A few minutes ago, it ended"

"I can't remember anything". Elsa said worriedly.

"Sure, you drank too much liquor, don't worry" Lionel lied because he couldn't upset Elsa by telling him what had happened with Bennet that night.

"Still memoryless, you're beautiful Elsa". A compliment escaped from Lionel.

"Thank you, Larson". Elsa replied as she fell asleep again due to the effect of the drug that she still had on her body.
