18 THE BRAT

"What does the most sensational woman do on campus?". Asked a male voice behind Elsa and Lionel.

"What are you doing here Bennet?". Elsa asked with disgust as she turned around and saw who had appeared.

"I was just taking a walk and I couldn't help but see how beautiful you are today". Bennet said trying to be flattering without noticing Elsa's expressions of disgust when Bennet said a word. "Do we go for a walk? Daddy lent me the yacht”.  Bennet's father was a senator in Lucien's parliament, which was reputed to be corrupt, so the yacht is surely one of his 'Political Activities'.

"Do you know where you can put your yacht?". Elsa said trying to get Bennet to understand the hint.

"Ah! I understand you are accompanied”. Bennet said contemptuously upon realizing Lionel's presence. "When since do you work as a babysitter?".

Lionel who hadn’t been interested in Elsa and Bennet's conversation, however, Lionel wasn’t used to putting up with insults, much less when people try to put him down, just like Bennet did. So, Lionel shot up with the intention of giving him that he deserved.

"Don’t bother yourself". Elsa said to Lionel, crossing her hand in front of  Lionel so that he didn't hurt Bennet because Elsa had some appreciation for him. "It's not worth it".

"You know Elsa, what else isn't worth?". Bennet said furiously. "YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE A w***e!".

Elsa looked at him with much disappointment, since they had been friends at some point before University, since her father and Bennet's had known each other for a long time, however, she couldn’t leave things like that, she had to be respected. Elsa wrapped her arms around Lionel's neck and stole a kiss, one that Lionel reciprocated, since he wanted to hit the jerk where it hurt the most, with Bennet’s Platonic love.

"Let's go, Lionel, to a more comfortable place." And looking at Bennet, she said to the sentence. "This is how it feels to kiss a real man".

“DAMN b***h!” 

Bennet yelled at Elsa, and after insulting her, he lashed out at Lionel, however, Bennet didn't know about his abilities. Lionel dodged Bennet's first blow that was aimed at his face and with great skill gave him three kicks so hard in the chest that he broke two ribs, despite that, Bennet didn’t give up and tried to stab him, which was a simple handle on his part as he dodged the lunge and grabbed the index finger that was holding Bennet's jackknife and snapped it making a thunderous sound like breaking celery. 

While writhing in pain on the floor, the people who had started to watch the scandal that Bennet was making laughed out loud, and then his friends appeared.

"Why did you do that?". One of them said angrily. "He’s our quarterback."

"Do you know that you will pay for that, right?". Another threatened him.

"I advise you; you will end up just like your little friend". Lionel said petulantly.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU SON OF A b***h!".

There were five of them, clearly a great disadvantage for Lionel, however, they were only football players without any experience in hand-to-hand combat, so despite the number, it wasn’t an effort for Lionel, the first tried to tackle Lionel, who was easily dodged by Lionel with a jump, and elbowed him in the head in the air, knocking him unconscious. 

Seeing this, three of them decided to go to his meeting to have a better chance of beating him, but their movements were clumsy, one of them ran straight at him recklessly which caused him to stumble and Lionel only had to kick him in the head to leave him out of action, the other two caught him, one of them managed to grab him from behind, while the other was preparing to hit him.

But Lionel was faster and each fist or kick he threw was dodged, with such bad luck for the guy that held him, that one of the blows struck him in the mouth and threw two teeth at him, which made him release Lionel and he with great skill threw a kick into the mouth of the stomach of the one who was afflicted by his mouth and a kick in the crotch to the other who fell vanished. The last of Bennet's friends, seeing what happened to his comrades, ran away in terror, not without leaving a pool of urine from the fear Lionel caused him.

After beating them up, Lionel and Elsa turned their backs on Bennet and left. He vowed that he would take revenge on both of them, that Lionel would suffer for that he had done to him and that Elsa would one day be his, or what is best for him, that she herself would beg him, or that was what he was imagining.

"Don’t do that again!". Lionel told Elsa that he still didn’t agree with her overconfidence.

"Do you deny that you like me?" Elsa said with a mischievous look. "I felt your tongue." Elsa loved to make Lionel uncomfortable whenever she could.

"That was to hurt that bastard, it wasn't for more". Lionel said that he really had enjoyed that moment. "Besides, I had already prohibited those attitudes towards me". Lionel stated that he wasn’t at all angry about what had happened, but rather the fact that Elsa didn’t obey one of his guidelines.

HAHAHA! Did you see how Bennet's friend pee?”. He laughed out loud; you could tell from many of her attitudes that she was glad about what had happened to those boys. "If we waited for a little, he would also have become poop."

"It's true, we seriously gave them a lesson they won't forget," Lionel said with a smile, but suspecting that perhaps they had just made an enemy unnecessarily and that Lionel's mission would be one of the most difficult he has ever had. "How troublesome can this boy Bennet be?" Lionel asked to find out how powerful his new enemy was since it was important to him to have the necessary information to fight almost any circumstance.

"He is nothing, he’s only the son of a senator". Elsa expressed with disdain since she was used to rubbing shoulders with people of that social class. "He’s a boy, he has always wanted to conquer me, he brought four cars full of flowers and a limo to the university to invite me out". Elsa was holding back the urge to laugh so she could finish the story. "After he found me, he offered to give me the 'most romantic night I've ever had' but his daddy called him". 

She couldn't stand it anymore and started to laugh frantically, Lionel himself was starting to change his mood. "He told him that he had seen the movements of Bennet's credit card and that they seemed very strange to him because it was a lot of money, so he had the card blocked and the payments reversed ... When we went to the limo the gentlemen who had hired made the claim and when they saw that Bennet's card was blocked, they cut it off and beat him up”. 

They both laughed loudly, tears came out and doubled over from such a funny situation. When they calmed down, Elsa took a breath and addressed Lionel. "You know Lionel, tomorrow I’m going to go to a football game since your job is to escort me, you will come with me," Elsa said and completed blushing. "But for me, it will be a date”.

Lionel didn’t have time to respond, because as it was Elsa's custom not to hear denials, she left without waiting for the answer and Lionel had no other choice but to accompany Elsa to the match.
