The Mate And The Beloved

My name is Lotus Carnell and I am a Rogue Werewolf. Why, you may ask, it's because of what I am. I am not only a Werewolf, but I am also a Vampire. My mother is a Vampire Countess known as Veronica Cornell of West Bend. My father is Connor Sherry and is the Alpha of The Moon Water Clan. My mother had told me that if the other Vampires found out that I was a partial Werewolf they would try to kill me. Being 17 and always on the run or wandering around isn't healthy, especially when you get too close to another werewolf's territory. My wolf form was getting tired 'Lotus, please, we have been running all day. We need to change back' 'Hold on a little longer Mist, we are near a human city' I told her as I sniffed the air, smelling the humans. I continue running, stopping a little deeper in the woods. I drop my bag and change, groaning in pain as I do. I searched through the bag, grabbing out a bra, a pair of panties, a simple dark blue t-shirt with a silver skull on it and a pair of black jeans. Putting on my clothes, I put on my combat boots and lace them up. As I walk out of the woods, I watch the humans who have not noticed me. My bi-colored eyes watch them as I tie my black hair into a tight bun. I reached into my bag quickly, finding my wallet. I walked the city until I found a hotel Walking inside, I got a room and gave the money to the male worker. He looked me up and down and grinned, "You know, if you want, I could make it cheaper if you let me in your room for half an hour." I made a face of disgust, going to tell him off, but a voice stopped me. "Mr. Kingston, that is not how we speak to our guests!" "I'm sorry Mr. Sines!" the male squeaks out in fear. I turned, feeling everything in the world stopped around us. A male; in a pristine black suit with brown hair slicked back with the sides shaved slightly was glaring at his worker with piercing deep green eyes. I felt my heart speed up and my face turned red. 'Beloved' spoke to my inner Vampire Scarlett. I jolted as his piercing green eyes turned to me. "I'm so very sorry for him, Miss. Let me get your bags" "O-Oh no it's okay I only have one" I quickly put down my money, grabbed the keys and ran to my room. Opening the door, I breathed out and laid on the bed staring at the ceiling 'Mark him' spoke Scarlett "What the hell?" I asked her 'He is our Beloved' "What is a Beloved?" I asked her curiously I heard a snicker 'Ask your mother' she speaks before going back into my mind. I sigh, pulling out my cell, I call my mother. A few rings and my mother picked up "Hello honey" "Mom, what is a Beloved?" "Oh! OH did you find yours?!" "T-That's what Scarlett had told me" "Wonderful" "Mom what is it?" "Do you know what mates are?" "No" "It's your true love" "Ok but mates is for my werewolf side" "Well Beloveds are exactly the same for Vampires except we can find ours we are usually 16 instead of 18 like Werewolves. So where did you meet your beloved?" "At the hotel where I got my room. He's Human" I speak softly "oh that's quite common. Most Vampires aren't able to find another Vampire. Your father is my Beloved just like I am his Mate. Lotus my dear. Get to know him and Happy Early Birthday Baby girl." "Thank you" I heard the phone click off and the line go dead I sit up. Tomorrow was my 18th Birthday if I were a full Werewolf I would be searching for my Mate but instead I have found my Beloved. Now I'm not entirely sure what to do. I sit up and decide to leave grabbing my wallet I walk downstairs looking inside my wallet to see how much money I have when I bump into someone's chest "I'm sorry" I look uo to see the male again his once slicked back hair was slightly messy and his piercing green eyes stared at me. "It's fine," He said, 'Oh dear Goddess, his voice.'' I thought to myself as Scarlett was excited. "A-Are you free?" I asked and he c****d and eyebrow at me "Excuse me?" he spoke "Are you free for a meal. I want to thank you" He chuckles "Oh, well yes I just got off for the day" "Im new here. Could you show me a good place to eat?" I ask him softly "Of course" he chuckles. *Micheal* The small female I had helped earlier seemed very shy towards me. "My name is Micheal Sines, what is yours?" "Lotus Carnell '' I stared at her "Where are your parents obsessed with the Vampire Counters Veronica Carnell?" she seemed to freeze while we were walking and became calm, kept walking "Actually we're related" "Oh really like a great grandmother or something" I say jokingly. She laughs and her brown eye seemed to turn red for a second which confused me 'Maybe it was the light' I thought to myself before she spoke again "No silly Veronica is my mother" That comment confused me even more "But that isn't even possible" *Lotus* I'm staring at Micheal before I remembered he was human. I faked a laugh. "I'm just kidding," I said teasingly. We walked down the last hallway and then walked outside. I ignored Kingston but could feel his eyes on me. After leaving Micheal asks "How old are you?" "I'm 17 but I will be 18 tomorrow" I state and he freezes in his place. I look at him and sigh softly "Like I said I will be 18 tomorrow" He seems to relax and we begin to walk again "How old are you Micheal?" I ask "21 years old" I nodded as we continue to walk together 'only three years apart' I think as we continue walking side by side
