I am queen.
I will always have that pain in me. That hate in me, but I am the queen.
I will be the best queen I can be for me not for them. I am valuable I am more than just a she wolf. Just another specimen. Isabella slowly pushed Alec away and wiped her tears.
“Thank you for giving me, it was long needed.” Isabella smiled dimly at Alec.
“Not a problem.” He smiled back at her.
“Now wipe off that dirt and be strong even if it is just a mask until you believe you are strong.” Alec said as he gently rubbed her cheek.
Again she offered him a small smile. Slowly Alec pushed her off of him so he could sit up.
“If you need anything you will know where to find me. Please don’t get this confused.”
“Yeah I know.” She waved his hand at his words. “I get it. You don’t need to reiterate.”
His eyes shifting to her as he stood up from her bed.
“I know you want love…I just can’t.” She nodded to his statement grabbing the blanket pulling it around her as she laid down.
“Can you turn off the light and shut the door when you leave please?” Isabella asked as she turned her body away from him towards the window.
“Of course.” He said as she listened to his feet shuffle farther away.
The light turned off as the door slowly closed. She continued to stare out the window. The moon illuminating the tree branches that waved at her. A soft smile creeped along her mouth. The darkness will always be her friend. Here she is safe here she can stay hidden from the evil that lives in the light.
Slowly she let her eyes drift close.
Envelope me, she whispered.
And so it did, just like a best friend would after a life time of not seeing the other one.
A soft thud sounded making her awake from her sleep. She didn’t bolt up just listened and waited.
Soft footsteps heard rounding near her.
A light body sat at the end of her bed.
Isabella was completely in tune to everything this person did and right now all they did was breathe heavy.
“You don’t deserve this.” The woman spoke gently and continued.
“I deserve this. I deserve to be queen. You are nothing you will always be nothing.” The woman said standing up walking around her bed to her.
“I wonder what death looks like.” She said as she breathed on Isabella’s face. A cold object ran along her cheek.
“Right now I am gonna rid of you and then.” She giggled. “I’m gonna kill Johnny and take your mate as mine.”
Isabella now registering that the object she held was a knife.
“You can try.” Isabella said shooting up. “The darkness is my friend. How often are you in the dark?” She said running out the bed into the large dark room. Seeing everything clearly.
“Can you see me?” Isabella said loud enough to make her room echo. The woman looking around in hysterics.
“We both know your fate is inevitable. Let’s just end this make it easy on both of us.”
Isabella now seen the woman in all her features. Her clear cut face and nose made her unmistakable.
“Oh, Lexi how I have waited for this day.” Isabella bit out.
“You have?” Lexi spun around trying to find where her voice was coming from.
“Oh Lexi.” Isabella ended right next to her ear in lightening speed. “How I wanted to kill you the moment you touched him.” Lexi jumped spinning to punch her but Isabella was too fast already back across the room.
“You could beat me yell at me degrade me. But you put that blackness in my heart after you touched him.” Isabella said laughing. “Now I will do unto you what you have done to me.”
“Your f*****g crazy.” Lexi yelled at the darkness.
“Yet you came to my room to kill me?”
Isabella rushed at her ripping the knife from Lexi’s hand sending it flying across the room. Both woman in a wild match for life. For vengeance. Swinging and lashing for one more shot. Lexi landed on top sending a punch to Isabella’s temple. Then another and another.
Stars. Stars were beautiful but something she hated more than Lexi herself.
Hearing Lexi’s claws come out. Isabella pushed her body up sending Lexi’s body flying. Isabella letting Audrey take control.
“You will never hurt us again.” Audrey said running at Lexi.
