Spanish, Chocolate and Kiwi

It was a lazy afternoon in her school and she is having her p.m. break alone on a table reading a book that has a plastic cover in it. She indeed takes good care of her valuables. Until a petite girl with medium length hair and expressive eyes walked towards her and asked if she can sit beside her. "Seat taken?" Danielle was asked by this petite girl with a smile. In order to respond, she just shook her head. The girl was so polite that she even asked Danielle if she may sit beside her, Danielle just agreed and git back to her book without even talking to the girl. "Hey?" Danielle still ignored her. "Hey? You okay?", Danielle looked at the girl with her resting b***h face. The girl flashed a smile on her face once Danielle noticed her. "Julia." The girl introduced herself to Danielle. Because of that, she decided to respond, "Danielle. Why are you here?", Julia smiled at her and hold her shoulders, "You seemed lonely, I'm here to keep you company, I guess. Lollipop?" Danielle was stunned on how this girl handled her, I mean she is a girl who is not easy to be with, not always in the mood. That is what Danielle is. "Thanks." The petite girl just smiled and asked, "By the way, what class are going in next?" Julia asked. "History. Anyway, got to go. Don't want to be late in class." Danielle was about to stand up but Julia stopped her. "Number?" "Why?" Danielle asked with confusion. "You know, so that I can catch up with you." "And why is that? We literally just met. You even interrupted my reading. I was doing fine." Julia then come forward that she is close with Danielle face that left her in shocked, "Why are you grouchy? Is it your period?" Danielle felt hot on the face on that very moment, to ignore it she pushed Julia that caused her to sit on the floor. Danielle stared at Julia and she ran out of the school canteen and have gone to her classroom. She found herself staring at the chair in front of her, What the f**k, Danielle? She thought. Charles then came in the picture that caused Danielle to be back in her consciousness. "Danny? Danielle? Hi?" Charles continuously waved his hand in front of Danielle's face. "You alright? You seemed tense. What's wrong?" She looked at her friend for a few seconds and did not hesitate to tell him about the incident in the school canteen during the p.m. break. "A girl about our age sat beside me." Because of it, Charles teasingly grinned which caused Danielle to slap his arms. "Seriously? That's it?" "Or is it because this girl is good-looking that it caused you to question your sexuality?" He teasingly said to Danielle, "Are you really my friend, Charles?" She then ignored her friend by resting her face on her desk. Charles stared Danielle for a few seconds and played with her hair with that Danielle looked up at him. "Of course, I am your friend, I am just trying to make you feel better." He sincerely said as he smiled at her. "What are you going to do about it?" Yeah, Danielle what are you going to do about it? She thought. "Nothing. I mean, why should I do something about it?" "Because this can be your chance to fall in love." Charles smiled adorably upon saying that to his friend. "With a female? A girl? Charles, do you need glasses? Your friend, which is I is a girl as well. Are you insane!" "No, I am not. I am helping you here. Plus we are in the 21st century, being gay is not a big deal, Danny." Danielle ignored Charles by going back on resting her face on her desk but before doing so, Charles held her chin that caused her to stare straight into his eyes. "Danny, you're 18. Also did you know that according to Erik Erickson's Developmental theory, 19 is the age of dating?" "Because if you don't date at 19 you will be isolated, that is heartbreaking, Danny." He teasingly added. "Isolated? Really, Charles you based your life on a theory? That is even more heartbreaking and boring, I might add." Danielle said with a laugh. Charles then hold Danielle hand, "Just try it, you might thank me in the future." He then squeezed her hand as he smiled at her. "Then, what happens after?" "What happens is you will feel the things that you thought that you will never feel." "Like what?" She asked as if she was interested in this kind of conversation. "You will feel your stomach having butterflies in them, you'll smile like an i***t when you thought of the person you fell in love with, you'll go on dates and feel like you are in cloud 9. Don't you want that, Danny?" "I do want that, but why with a woman? Why not with a man, huh?" Danielle said as he shook Charles. Charles laughed, "This is a young lady of your age not a woman yet. Don't get there that fast. This girl might make you happy as happy as if you will be with a boy." Danielle sighed and put her palm on her face, "You are really pushing this aren't you?" Charles grinned and squeezed Danielle hands, "Of course, I want something different and fun for you. So, will you?" Danielle stared a Charles for a moment, "Still a no. Charles, never." Charles stared at Danielle for a few moments and came forward to her face surprisingly she felt what she felt when Julia had done this to her, "I know why you are not agreeing to this, you like me, huh?" Danielle know that she likes him, but now is not that the time for him to know that she likes him. Not now, not ever. "What? No! I will never like you." "Then why are you all red. You are not great at lying, Danielle. Just say it, it's fine." Charles said as she pinched Danielle's cheeks that made her even more red than before. Danielle shut her eyes, "Fine! I do. I really do. You happy?" As a response, Charles held Danielle's hand, "I am flattered, but are you still up with the deal? It's going to fun and interesting!" Danielle pinched Charles' nose, "Why me? Why did you choose me? You got a lot of options out there but, why me?" Charles grinned and pinched Danielle's right cheek, "Because you just confessed that you like me so, that is pushing me to go through this thing. Please?" With pleading eyes she just agreed with him by nodding. "And what will I get from this?" He frowned and held Danielle's hand, "Am I repeating all the things that I just said to you throughout this conversation? No." "Then, I take back to our agreement." Charles slapped himself, "Fine! Let's just say that you'll have a supply of happiness, for a lifetime." "You are so lucky, that I like you, you little sweet creature!" Danielle said as she smiled. "I know, I am. Now, let us make a list about this person who sat beside you at the canteen while you were reading." "Charles, why do you need to be more detailed than expected?" Charles held both of Danielle's shoulders, "Because being detailed is the road to success and this is going to be even more exciting." Danielle sighed as she gets a piece of tissue paper and started to list down things about the person who sat beside her during her break. Annoying Nightmare Distraction While Danielle was continuously listing down, Charles' face grew confused, "Why are you writing such negative things? Are you that mad about this person?" With that, Danielle looked up from the tissue and gave Charles a death glare. "Why don't you try to list the physical appearance of this he/she?" Charles said as he smiled. "Charles, are you nuts? He or she? Really? I thought you want me to be with a girl?" Charles grinned, "I was just testing you, Danny." Danielle gave Charles a death glare and hit him with a Harry Potter book. "Hermoine? Is that you?" "Shut up, Charlie." He smiled, "Sure, see you at the canteen tomorrow, Danny!" "Whatever." The day has gone by and Danielle seemed to be wondering why Charlie is pushing her to love a girl. Dinner has come by as well until she has gone to her room to continue reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She felt her phone vibrate and because of curiosity, she didn't hesitate to answer it considering that the last message she received from Messenger was from last month and it was from her mother. She opened her phone screen and saw a notification from Julia Joselyn. That was probably the girl from the canteen. Julia Joselyn is waving at you, that is what Danielle's screen is saying. Also Danielle received a message from an unknown number, Miss Granger? Kidding, you're a Potterhead too? Danielle knew that this might be Charles' new phone number? Or maybe not. Charles, stop playing! Danielle replied. After a few seconds, Danielle's phone received a new message from the same number. Charles? Who's that? Danielle was confused for only Charles knows that she's a potterhead.
