Opening my eyes to the beauty of the day light. A pleasant sight fell into my view.

'what does he mean? Why was he treating me like a one night stand? We were mate!! And we're supposed to be lovey dovey right now.

"If you care even a bit about your image then you should leave or would you like the guards to drag you out?" He asked coldly.
The voice I found soothing and heavenly now sounded like a night mare to me.

I looked up to meet his eyes and I saw it,
He was in pain too, his wolf doesn't refuse me, I could see his wolf was fighting for control with him even if he was concealing it.
"You think I would mate with you? You must be one to let your illusions take over your brain huh? Why didn't I mark you if I claimed you as my mate" He mercilessly said his voice holding a bit of sneer
That statement finally broke me as I lost the strength to beg. I could feel my heart crush into smithereens and my wolf howled in pain, she was in as much pain as I was right now.
