Walking out of Serena's room as fast as he could, he moved to the balcony leading to his study. Luciano punched the wall hard in anger.

He heaved hard as he tried to control his breathing.

He knew what he did was wrong and he regretted it, he never meant to hurt her like that but he wanted to guarantee her safety but in the end...

He made her suffer a life worse than death.

Yes, he deserved to be cursed by her, but seeing the hurt in those eyes made him feel worse and he feared more that she hated him.

The truth was too bitter for him to take in.

Only if that morning he hadn't let her go, he hadn't hurt her that much but all he could do was wish.

Trying to steady his breathing and curb his anger he realized he shouldn't have left her there, She just survived the hellish life of s*****y and needed company more than anything but he wasn't sure if he could be that company she needed right now.

For the time being he sent for Anna, one of the attending maids to go and accompany her.

"Alpha!" Eloi called his voice laced with urgency.

"What is the problem?" Luciano couldn't help but wonder what could make his beta sound this way.

"Its–its lady Serena, She-

Luciano felt his heart pound as he wasted no time as his legs moved on their own so fast that eloi was left dumbfounded at his speed, But that wasn't what was worrying him right now.

If something were to happen to the lady things would get out of hand. He couldn't help but tremble at what might happen as the memory from the last three years flashed in his mind.

All hell will let loose.

He strolled into the room where she was a moment ago only to find her bed empty, my eyes roamed the room and I saw the open window and immediately ran to the window side.

I could faintly breath in her now dispersing scent, she seem to have left the room a while ago.

Fear creeped me, as different thoughts ran through my head.

I could feel Roy's anxiousness too, he wanted to take control and look for her himself but giving control to him was dangerous. He couldn't promise that all the attending guards that were supposed to keep an eye on her will still have their head on their shoulders as they failed to keep her safe.

And Roy was an animal that rely's mostly on instinct he had to oversee this himself and Roy understood that,

They both would never risk their mate's safety.

Looking down the window, I saw a thin rope tied around the window sill, it went all the way down the ground.

'She left on her own? Does she realize how dangerous it was? There were in the middle of the forest but she dares to leave on her own?' Anger overwhelmed Luciano as his fist tightened by his sides.

She was driving him crazy right now but this was never the time to show his anger, his feet immediately moved to venture out as he trailed her faint scent only for it to lead further into the wild forest.

His heart beat accelerated and he moved faster as Eloi followed quickly but was left behind by the speeding Luciano.

He halted at the sight before him as he felt his heart fly out of it's rib as his eyes burned with rage and partly fear.

Right there, she was flanked by three wild creatures that eyed her as it's meal as another moved to claw at her.

Not waiting for a single moment his wolf took over and in a moment Roy pinned two beast to the floor, his claws digging right into their neck as he teared the monsters in two.

The others backed out in fear as they sensed the power and authority their opponent spilled but they was no way out for them as Roy came for them at once.

Tearing them like pieces of paper, blood spilled everywhere but Roy wasn't done yet he smashed them into a number of bones and skulls.

Turning to look at serena with his blazing eyes that looked like he was going to tear her down too, he approached her with dangerous steps.
