Episode 2 IN BETWEEN

Jane sat down in front of the mirror, ruminating about how her life went from good to bad within 48 hours.

“I can't believe all these things are happening to me,why do I deserve this? Why do I have to go through all these things,I don't even deserve this” Jane said as she squeezed the letter in her hand.

Ella rushed down from the kitchen to the room to meet Jane.

“Jane what happened?,I heard you crying,am actually trying to fix us something to eat” Jane said as she tried to console her.

“Ella I'm not hungry,my life has been shattered Ella, I'm doomed” Jane said as she gave Ella the letter.

“ Jane you've got to be kidding right now,oh my God! What!”Ella exclaimed as she went through the content of the letter.

“First they're not my parents and now I'm finding out they have borrowed a lot from financial institutions and with all their property combined they still have an outstanding of $10 million,where am I supposed to start from plus I have to leave this house in two weeks”.

“Jane what do you mean by they're not your parents,I don't seem to understand what you just said,oh wait! Is that why you said we should leave the burial ceremony?” Ella asked.

“ Ella this is not the time to question me,I can't even figure out my life right now,where am I supposed to start from”.

“Jane you need to calm down,I am confused as you are right now cause all this seems like a dream to me”. Ella said as she folded the letter into the envelope.

“I think I need to call Josh right now,he knows a few people and am sure he will be glad to help,” Jane said as she stood up to get her phone.

“Wait Jane,you mean you want to ask that useless boyfriend of yours for help? Does he look like someone that can help in this kind of situation to you?”.

“You are beginning to piss me off again Ella,what am I supposed to do,am f****d already”. Jane said as she headed out of the house.

“Okay, just make sure you are safe and don't stay too long,” Ella said as she headed back to the kitchen.

Scene 2

“Baby,I am so happy to see you and am very sorry I didn't show up at your parent's burial. I have been busy,” Josh said as he hugged jane.

“It's fine Josh,I am here for something very important, I am in trouble and I feel the only person that is in position to help me is you” Jane said as he brought out the letter.

“Babes,what happened?” Josh asked as he collected the letter from Jane.

Jane sat down on the couch patiently waiting for Josh to finish reading the letter.

“This is huge Jane,why would your parents do such a thing and they even died leaving you in debt,where are you supposed to start from?” Josh exclaimed.

“Josh,you are the only person that can help me out and get me out of this mess right now,I know you can handle this situation”

“Babes, can you even listen to yourself right now? I mean where am I supposed to get $10 million from to clear your family’s debt all in the name of love.

“Josh please don't do this to me,just help me out in any way that you can,I will do anything please babes” Jane pleaded.

Josh's face was brightened immediately he heard Jane said she would do anything and he moved closer to her.

“ You mean you would do anything? He said as he unbuttoned Jane's shirt.

“ Stop josh,you know we can't do this! I am a virgin and you know this,I can do other things but this,it is a NO” Jane said as she buttoned up.

“Okay go sort yourself out then,you are a virgin at 26? It is unbelievable!, have been trying to do this with you but you kept saying NO.

“Babes can't you just help me without us doing this? I know it is something you can do at the snap of your finger but why do you have to do this to me?” Jane said as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“Jane,you see what am asking of you is very simple I mean nothing goes for free,it is simply give and take you have to know that”

“Josh,I thought you loved me plus I am your girlfriend,why do you have to treat me this way.WHY?” Jane said as she collected the letter from Josh.

“ I love you Jane, all I want from you is just some sugar and you are making it seem like I'm asking you to die”.josh said as he sat on the bed.

“ Okay fine,but it is just this once and I am doing this for the money since you won't give it out for free” Jane said as she stood up from the couch to meet Josh on the

bed.

“Babes I love you don't get me wrong,this thing is just a normal stuff couples do”.josh said as he unzipped his trouser.

Jane moved closer to him saying “ you have to go easy on me you know this is my first time doing this”.

“ Babe don't worry,I will make sure to go easy on you,I am an expert in this” he said as he removed her shirt.

Jane was breathing very fast as he moved to a sensitive part of her body.

“Stop josh,we need to stop right now,I don't think I am ready to do this”.jane said as she tried pushing josh.

“Babes, we can't stop now,I will make sure to go easy on you”.he said as he tried to remove her skirt.

“Josh stop,I am not interested in doing this anymore and you can as well keep your money” Jane said as she pushed him and picked up her shirt.

As Jane was about to leave, Josh grabbed her and pushed her on the bed.
