IXWHEN I FINALLY GOT out of the required schooling, with some sort of certificate that was another meaningless paper scrap like the rest, I left home that weekend to a job in another state. After a few months, I left that job for another that made me travel all over the U.S. from coast to coast, doing different stuff. Mostly stupid. But I learned that other people died and lived like I did. People would change themselves over years and make themselves into different-acting people than I knew before. And I was changing, dropping out stuff that didn't make sense, and learning all the rules and sillinesses of how to treat people. I was also trying to figure out where the natural laws were and weren't. There were so many different stupid made-up rules that this made it real hard. But event
