PROLOGUE
Unlike other nights, this night was darker then any other. But the moon however, well the moon was at its brightest. Not even the blazing stars match it’s light. But during this strange night, the winds started to blow heavily through the dark forest. Causing the branches to almost snap, and the rivers to flow harshly. But deep into the forest was a lonely lake. It reflected the stunning moons light, as the winds continued to blow harshly. But suddenly the moon let out a tear drop of its light. Following elegantly down to the lonely lake, that sat deep in the middle of the dark forest. The drop of light turned the whole lake blazing in light. Which caused the winds to halt completely. As a beautiful girl arise from the waters. Her hair as white as snow, and skin as clear as ice. She took in her surroundings, confused of her arrival. She looked down at her hands, mesmerised by them. Then she walked walked out of the lake, clothed with a pure white dress. She watched her toes with every step she made. Looking at them curiously. But her head shot up from the calling of the wild. The howling of a wolf. She began to walk towards the sounds of the howling, which took her 14 months from how far the sound really was. Following her instincts and heighten hearing, as she stumbled into a pack territory. Their was a mansion and plenty of town houses nearby. The strange girl continued to walk, all the way towards the large house. The pack guards did nothing but stood their mesmerised by her beauty. And the aura she had glowing around her. But the girl ignored the stares, as she continued her walk. The Alpha’s family came walking near the mansion, only to find her standing by. She turned her head, looking at them quizzically. With a tilt to her head, her long white hair dropped down her shoulders elegantly. “Who are you?” The Alpha managed to ask after moments of staring at the young girl. She looked taken back, looking down at her hands. Then holding the brim of her dress. As if they had the answers. “Where did you come from?” The Luna asked concerned. Obviously understanding the girls distraught over a simple question. ‘She must have been through a lot to forget her own name.’ The Luna thought. The young girl looked at the Luna, standing up straight. As this was a question she could answer. “I came from the lake.” She pointed to the direction she came from. They followed her index finger’s direction, as if compelled by her words. As her voice was enchanting. “I mean your home.” The Luna asked. “Do you remember your family, dear?” But the girl continued to look dumbfounded. “She couldn’t even remember to wear shoes, what do you expect.” Their daughter sneered at the beautiful girl. The girl only looked down at her toes, now feeling slightly ashamed by her lack of shoes. ‘I’ll have to get some, whatever they are.’ She thought determined. “Come on dear, let’s get you inside.” The Luna said gently, leading the lost girl into the mansion. Bringing her into the kitchen as she poured her a glass of water. “Here, you look like you’ve been through quiet a journey.” The old woman said, handing the glass over. The girl took a sip, before she halted. As the smell of Woodstock and wet rain took over her senses. She turned to look around. Watching as a young man walked into the kitchen with a young woman on he’s arm. She tilted her head confused. Not understanding this new emotions, but she shrugged them away. Not thinking much of it. “Eric, I thought I told you, that you had pack duties this afternoon.” The Luna scolded the young man, but he only rolled he’s eyes. Until he laid eyes on her and froze.
