A moment of truth PT 2

Claire's POV I can actually hear the concern and worry in his voice and at this point nothing I come up with will make sense than the truth. I exhale hard then turn to look at him. "You're right." He looks at me attentively. "My nightmares are about her." He quirks his eyebrows. "Samantha?" He asks and I nod. "Then why didn't you say anything. We could have gotten the sisters to check the bracelet." He acts concerned and holds my hand wearing the bracelet. "That's the expression right there." I smile a bit at him and he looks back puzzled. "You worry too much Ethan. You already have a lot on you plate and I don't want to be another headache." "You're not a headache." He moves closer to me and I see the seriousness in his eyes. "You are my world. Not a headache." He assures me with a smile before pulling me in for a hug. I hold onto him tighter and inhale his scent which seems to calm my nerves down. "So what actually happened?" He asks and I sigh before leaving his embrace. I'm gonna tell him the truth, but not all of it. He can't know how this got out of control. "My burning wrist woke me up so I rushed to the washroom for some water. I was standing in front of the mirror and when I opened my eyes....." I stare into vacuum. "I saw her. She was smiling at me but in a sinister way." Thinking about the smile sends a creepy shiver down my spine. Ethan holds my hand to draw my attention and I smile at him. "Then the mirror shattered right in front of me." I conclude and exhale hard. "So she's slowly slipping into your reality again." He says and I nod at his statement. "We'll have the sisters check out the bracelet then, maybe it has gotten weak with time." He assures me again with a hug and I smile. "Also I'm sorry about the little jealousy rampage." I add and he immediately grins. "So you do admit that you were jealous." I blush a bit avoiding his gaze. "Just a little. I'm still getting used to the idea of you being mine, and seeing you with other women is kinda weird for me." He instantly chuckles. "Claire, Steph and I are only friends. We grew up together and that's all." I nod at his statement. "She's just seems different to me. The first time we met I caught her sitting in your office chair and I guess that's what made me not like her." He holds his chin in thinking. "Stephanie is totally friendly and if you found her doing that then she was probably trying to get a reading or something." He assures me by pulling me close by the waist. "Reading for what." I place my hands on his chest to put a little space between us. Ethan let's go of me and exhales hard telling me that something is off. "Do you remember the curse that I told you about?" He asks and I almost nod but add.... "Not really, you said you would tell me when I was ready." He smiles a bit at me and runs his hand through his hair. "I think it's time you know."
