Space Flight Teddy had never walked home from Tem's. Usually he went by car or rode his bike, but today he had to walk because he needed the time. He could pick up his bike later. It would take him about forty minutes to walk home, so he called his mom and let her know. She heard the determination in his voice and, aware of the path he was on and the way he had kept to himself for the last few weeks, didn't ask him why he wanted to walk. Teddy walked past a tall concrete granary that been used to store wheat. Now it stood empty with an ugly gash in the side. The unbelievable power of a tornado had picked up a tractor and thrown it into the side of the granary.
