Transformation
Before their first class, Tem told Teddy they would have a few hours on Sunday afternoon to continue their tests. Tem didn't know why Teddy had the gift of seeing the hieroglyphs on the base of the amulets, or the blank page unlocking the blue and green amulets' powers, but in remembering all of the things that had happened over the last few weeks Tem knew he did.
Tem realized there wasn't time for him to understand. He felt that to deny Teddy his tests would be like attempting to stop the Sun from rising. It was something that had to be. It was Teddy's calling, and Tem would do his best to help his friend. He sensed he had a larger part to play, but for now exactly what that was eluded him.
He kept the stories of the grave robbers, the nothingness and the No to himself.
