“So is this some kind of intruder? Are you sure that they are both in that body?”
“I’m sure,” Josh nodded firmly. “The boy is there with that thing, and it wants all the space for itself.”
“Is he suppressing the boy’s soul?”
“Yes, he flew onto it like a big bat. When he spreads his wings, he covers the boy’s whole body.”
“What do you think—is this another soul?”
“This is some kind of evil,” Josh explained, “extremely evil.”
“I understand. Do you think the boy can get rid of the bird-man?”
Josh acted again as though he had very limited space.
“No. The bird-man is strong from the magic spells, and he acts like many of his kind from a few hundred years before—he went into a little baby.”
