For some reason, I have been trying to wrap my head around the reason for this date. Maybe a continuation of the Valentine surprise, my mind tells me so. Maybe gifting wasn't enough and he concluded a dinner date would be better. I really need to stop overthinking this, it's one harmless date what could really go wrong.
Soon I notice Raymond stare in me, my heart almost caught in my stomach. Then he points to the necklace around my neck.
"It suits you very well." I smile and immediately clutch it with my hand. Unsure of my reason for doing so.
