Grier was gobsmacked as the horses brought them to the lake and Nick kept pushing them beyond to the trail on the other side. Her father must have told him about the restricted access road. Tonight felt special and not only because she knew they were going to make love. Everything about it felt magical, blessed and she couldn’t stop smiling. Another fifteen minutes later and she was sober while the sleigh came to a halt. They were in the old field where the apple trees grew.
