Chapter Thirty Eight - Home Again
Serenity's POV We'd been teleported a short way from the council building. No one could know where it was located, but cars had been brought to a close-by parking lot so we could drive home. I loaded Archie into the back of my parent's car and climbed in the back. Luka and Emma climbed into his parent's car. Luka looked at me for a long time but I didn't break. I shut the door without a second look. It was a mostly silent ride through the country side. No one said a word and Archie slept most of the time. Pulling up to my house was a feeling I would never forget. After being gone for so many months, it would feel so good to sit in my own living room. Ivy was there with my siblings, playing.
