Luka's POV I left Emma's room and went to the hall where my father and Erica were waiting. Emma was crying. I was appalled at the site of her bruised and broken body, Kale was a monster. I wanted him to die, truly. “He abused her.” I said to them. “Emma. Her entire body is covered in bruises and cuts. She shouldn't be in there.” “We'll discuss it.” Erica said. “Serenity is awake.” My heart skipped a beat. I was suddenly in a rush to get to her side and forgot about Kale and Emma for a moment. I followed Erica closely as we made our way to the hospital wing. I saw Serenity in the distance. She was laying awake but unmoving. She still looked pretty sickly.
