Luka's POV Thankfully, Serenity's parents were allowed to bring Ivy to see her. All of us were on edge and concerned that each time we left her side would be the last time we left her alive. None of us agreed with her decision, but once again, none of us could argue with her. She had a clear rationale in her head. She wasn't being unreasonable. She wasn't throwing life, hers nor the child's, away needlessly. We respected her for that. I spent most of my time by her side. I was soaking in every moment I could. I laid with her and took in her scent. I took advantage of all of our down time where I could truly just lay with her and love on her all day. We soaked in our time with Ivy.
