‘Svetlana, you’re glowing! Happy to see you like that!’ he said. I wasn’t aware of a change, though. I’d followed the same routine as on all the other days. Was the joy I felt so obvious on my face? It would seem so. My boss began to tease me. ‘Svetlana… you’ve fallen in love over the weekend.’ As soon as he said this, I felt my colleagues turn their gaze towards me.
