David crack his knuckles. He rush toward me with a punch I grab it, Randy came to the other side try to punch my head. I grab his hand turn it and push him back to a building. I pushed David hand aside grab his head bend it and send my knees in his face he raise it up, I give him a high kick this send him up in the sky, Randy came out of the building I move close to him in speed and punch him numerously, then bounce him to the ground, he lay down weak, I grab him threw him up, jump up kick him hard back to the ground. I land on the ground pick his body up and absorb his blood completely.

I look back, the rest have roll out with the truck. In distance I can see David going after them, I ran after him. Jumping from one building to another.

John: where the hell did you think you are going.

I grab his shirt, pull him back and threw him over a wall. I stand down and walk over to him, he stood up.

David: so this is it. You wish to die right. Well let me show you what true power is.

He transform into a mutant, tall at least 4 meters, with claws and teeth, his body is full of muscle.

with speed he hit me so hard it pushed me to a building and it collapse on me. I come out of it pushing off the structure above me, my body is full of bruises. I jump out land on the ground my body start healing up.

He came at me with his claws I dodge it, he swing another one I dodge it again, when his chest is clear I deliver a devastating blow on his chest, I hear crack like a broken bone. This push him back greatly destroying every building behind him. I jump up so high and landed on him with heavy force. He spat out blood. He change back.

David: what kind of parasite do you possess.

John: it's non of your business. I raise up my leg and break his head with it. At that time I begin to feel slight headache,

Parasite: your body can't go any further. You need to rest. Let me absorb him this should increase your level.

I grab David, hold him up, and his blood dried Instantly.

I feel weak as I walk slowly back to the road. I sat down lay my back on a broken wall.

I saw a truck coming toward me. Then I loose consciousness.

After some hours I woke up and find my self by the sea. Sky was with me starring at my face. The others are walking around gathering firewood.

Sky: how are you feeling.

John: where is Megan?

Sky: Megan? Oh she is over there (pointing at a figure standing by the river bank)

I stood up walk over to Megan.

John: hey?

Megan: Hi. How are you feeling.

John: am fine.

Megan: look at you, you have changed a lot and become even stronger.

John: Well this is all coincidence.

Megan: is that so?

John: yeah

We stare at each other I move close, about to kiss her, but she stoped me. I feel disappointed.

John: why?

Megan: am not in the mood.

John: mood? it's just a kiss.

John: or is it because of the parasite in me.

I stood up went into the river sank my self in and scream. Then I came out.

I walk to a very far end of the river where no one will can see me, there is a cave by the end of it, I sat at the entrance, the left side gazing at the sunset. Trying to forget about everything between I and Megan.

After an hour

I feel a touch on my shoulder. I look back and it sky.

Sky: there you are. I've been looking all over for you.

I face the sunset.

Sky: what's wrong.

John: nothing

Sky: something is wrong with you tell me.

John: (sigh) that girl Is Megan.

I explain all about Megan to sky.

Sky: you do really like her.

John: yeah, but it's all over now.

Sky: maybe she is just trying to......

John: Do what, (I jerk her hand of my shoulder and stood up) keep me safe like what Dan said earlier. No, no more bulshit she already engage, Worst of all she is pregnant. maybe we are not meant to be together.

Sky was silent, then she stood up walked to my side, turn my head toward her.

Sky: Then give me a chance.

I look the other side, she look disappointed.

Sky: Am sorry I said that so soon I.... (sigh).... I'll just be on my way.

She was about to leave. I grab her hand and pull her back to me.

John: Am sorry sky. It's just....(sigh) it's a lot to take in. I just can't believe it. it was my fault. she did love me once but I never recognize it. (I release her hand and turn my back on her). Until I was captured and alone. That's when I start thinking about her and it's when I grew my love for her. I thought I found love but I was mistaken because it's Already too late for me. ( I faced her Moving close to her) So I don't wanna make that mistake again.

I grab her hands. She keep starring at me.

I move my head close to Her's and close my eyes, she did the same as our lip claps toghether she hold my hand tight. We kiss for almost ten minute. When we withdraw. We stare at each other again.

Sky: I LOVE YOU JOHN..

John: I LOVE YOU TOO SKY.

We lock our lip together again our breath become harder.

We kissed as she wraps her arm around my head and pull my body closer to her. It was the best feeling ever.

After 30 min Of romance .

She rest her head on my chest as we fix our eyes at the stars.

John: I think we should go back.

Sky: yeah but one thing bother me, how are going to feel when you see Megan.

John: usual. Why did you ask.

Sky: won't you feel somehow.

John: Look if something does not work, leave it and focus on another one. It's means it's not meant to be yours.

Sky: what if it is. Will you leave me.

John: Never. If it is. Then it's too late. I've seen someone I like and I will be with that person till the end. I promise.

Then he notice sky and I are holding hands.

John: f**k you Dan.

Megan: finally where were you.

She also see sky and I holding hands.

Megan: oh I see.

I release my hand from sky's hand.

John: (facing sky) give me a minute.

I walk over to Megan grab her hand and pull her along to a place.

John: I need something from you.

Megan: looking down.) what is it.

John : please am begging you. Tell me what happened that day.

Megan: what day.

John: you know that day, I fainted or something I don't know, you are the last person I saw that day. What happen.

Megan: you were hit by a getaway truck, nearly killed you, but you were rush to the hospital immediately, the hospital which you were taken to said your case is critical. You were taking to more advance where they rearrange every bone in your body including your skull, they said you are in veterans state. It's a miracle if you survive. Not long after that the parasite invade our planet, My dad sent for me immediately.

John: okay so, (sigh) the f**k , Your dad where is he right now.

Megan: he is at the base. He has been looking for me for the past three days.

John: why?

John: then how did you make your way here.

Megan: I escaped.

John: how?

Megan: I remember your tactic when you help us out at Ruffy camp. I killed a guard get his clothe and disguise, on my way I met David, Randy and Duke. and we have been moving together till I finally meet you.

John: so your dad has been keeping....

Megan: I don't know, and it's not my dad am sure it controlling him.

John: alright, alright calm down. you need to tell other s about it, we can't do it on our own. We need to tell them.

Megan: Okay, okay.

I called others we form a circle and create a fire In the middle and Megan explain everything to them and I also explained all that I know about the queen parasite.

Jack: so once we eradicate that beast every parasite will die.

John: exactly.

Dan: But will the affected be cured.

Sky: no, Not all the affected, those that are affected by the Brain will die with them but those that are attached to the other part, that part will be paralyzed. And the once In blood are the luckiest, those parasite will not die but the host will loose all ability as the main parasite who supply them is now gone. But once it leaves the blood stream, that parasite will die instantly permanent.
