Long lost Love

While I drive sky keeps me company but it later got boring. She won't shut up for one second the other are sleeping like baby at the back like they were up all night. And sky well am just happy am not feeling lonely. We were on the road for 5 hours we just came out of the forest now looks like we are heading for the city. We pass a bridge.

Finally sky is sleeping.

On the road I saw some zombies staying motionless and when I pass them they begin him to move again.

John:.........

Parasite: your people?

John: I've never seen them in my life.

Parasite: yawning.

John: Are you........ Yawning?

Parasite: yeah am tired. I wanna sleep.

John: (surprised) Oooooookaaaaaayyyyy.

4:00Pm

Finally we reach the city.

It's kinda silent.

Well who want to make a noise at a Crazy place like this. I reduced the speed of the car going slowly to avoid too much noise because too much noise means to much trouble.

I look for a good spot and found one, it's a big abandoned house. The kind for rich people. It has gate. I came down From the truck, open the gate get back to the truck drive in and close the gate.

I walk to the front door, open it. Feels like no one is in. I bring out my hand gun as I go further checking every room. I found some expired booze on the table. I ignored it. Went further. I check every thing. Well I think that's it. It's clear.

Then i heard noise In the ceiling. I went up to check, and when I get there I saw a little boys laying on the wooden ceiling. But he is dead. I also found some empty can food and water bottle. All what is left of him are his bones.

John: looks like he starve to death. I wonder what he went through. His Parent went out but never come back. Such a pity.

I packed his bones up, take it outside, found A shovel, dug up a grave, bury him there.

John: For you RIPPER.

After a while I start packing the loads into the house.

After that I hear a noise coming from the dinning table. I bring out my gun and when I got there I saw SKY drinking the expired alcohol.

john: Sky?

I rush over to her and snap the alcohol from her hand.

John: stop. It's expired.

Sky: Awwn you wasted that, (she picked up another one) I've been drinking expired alcohol for the past months. There are not much left. No one is producing them anymore.

John: I collect it from her hand.) That does mean you should kill yourself over the expired one when you can create one yourself.

Sky: I can't.

John: burst into laughter. What do you mean you can't. You said you are intelligent but you don't know how to Make an alcohol.

Sky: (pick out another one. I collect it again.) I just don't want to know how.

I lay my hand on the table.

John: ( still laughing) why? Because you will keep make it and drinking till it kills you.

Sky: well what do you think.

John: I think it's the worst idea.

Sky: that's what I think.

She hold my hand. Move close to me and was about to kiss me. We were so close to each other we can feel our breath.

Jack walk in.

Jack: Huhun, isn't that great.

John: what it's nothing.

Sky: what do you mean it's nothing.

Jack: I don't care weather its anything I just want grab a booze and lay my body down.

John: but it's expired. You sure you want it.

Jack: thanks for the concern but I'll manage it.

He pick up one and drank it all at once. Threw the bottle outside. All right I am going upstairs. Ahhh.

We both stare at him till he vanish into the room.

I stood up.

John: I better wake others.

Sky pull my hand. Stood up and kissed me.

Sky: we were in the middle of something.

John: there is something thing I need to tell you.

Sky: That could wait later. Let finish what we started, she begins to pull off her shirt.

I just say it out.

John: I have someone I like.

She stop.

John: Am sorry I did not tell you earlier.

Sky pull up her clothe back and she made her way to the front door.

Jack: mhen that was close. So what are going to do now.

John: what the...... Shut up Jack.

I walk outside to call in Dan and Xia, but could not be found. I was worried. I rush inside check the rooms. I check the last room and I saw Dan sitting by the bedside starring at the ceiling.

John: hey dude you cool.

Then he sit up talking nonsense. This guy is completely drunk.

John: hey ummm, I'll come check you up later.

John: I close the door silently. And walk out. I lay my back on the truck, cross my leg, grab I cigarette. Light is up and smoke it.

John: where did sky went to.

The gate is open. I also went out in search of her. I look every where and it's getting dark.

Finally found her by a street light pole drinking an alcohol.

John: where did you see that.

Sky: scared) s**t. What the hell. Why did you sneak up on me.

John: hey are you angry.

She turn her back on me

Sky: why will I be angry.

I move close to her, hold her shoulder.

John: I know you are angry. And I can tell it.

Sky: so what, what can you do about it.

John: what do you want me to do.

She faced me

Sky: kiss me.

John: sigh) okay can you give me sometime to think about all of this. Me and you.

Sky: am suppose to be saying that not the other way round.

Still facing her back on me.

John: alright give Me three days to think about it.

She turned her face to me

Sky: alright three days. And if you did not come up with an answer.

John: them am yours.

Sky: can't wait.

Then we heard gun shots. we went to the place. And when we get there, we saw a house that has stair up to the roof top. We climb it what we saw is all bloody we saw a huge swan of zombie with some level 2 battling 4 people. 3 guys 1 girl. Saw a couple of dead people too, they must be with them. They all cover their faces.

They've ran out of ammo.

John: looks like they need help. Wait here sky I'll be back in a minute.

I jump in try to use my strenght but failed.

John: what the? oh s**t this thing is sleeping.

I bring out my gun shoot a couple of zombies to clear the way, I grab the lady among them and call others to follow. At first they look at themselves. soon some level 2 began to jump in, then they run after me. I bring out my hand gun shoot a couple of bullet but bounce off. They are already A jump away , suddenly they keep melting. It's sky she shoot a type of gun that cause no noise different from the one am using and it keep melting them. I smiled. And we make our way to the house. Sky joined us.

When we get to our lodge we welcome them. And ask them to feel at home.

The girl among them came to me and sky on the dinning table and thank us.

John: no problem but is something wrong with your voice it sound manly.

@: just a cold.

Sky: cold. Wow cool.

John: alright you can rest here for the night and tomorrow you can leave.

@: thank you very much

Am suspicious of her.

Then one of the guys came to meet me and ask if we have anything they can eat.

John: alright am coming.

I went upstairs check on Jack he is sleeping. I check on Dan. Dan sleep on the floor. I woke him up and told him to sleep on the bed. He did.

I closed the door went to where I keep the food. Brought some out for me, Sky, and the four guys. I serve them they look happy.

I join sky at the dinning and we ate to our fill.

Sky: am going up I need some shut eye.

John: okay

Hmm she left her phone.

When she's gone I stay at the Dinning play candy crush on her phone. Them I heard mumumuring between the guys. I went out to check on them. They are discussing something.

John: hey guys, is every thing alright.

$: fine, fine. It's good.

John: alright if you feel like sleeping you can sleep here. It's comfy enough.

John: oh by the way can I know your names. It will strange if we exchange conversation without knowing each other name.

?: yeah it's true. My name is Randy,

John: Sandra right?

Sandra: yeah. Is there any problem.

John: nope no problem. I hope am not asking too much. Can...... Can I see your faces. I mean if you are not bad people and you want us to trust each other. Don't you think it's the right thing to do.

The guy that came to ask for food first stood up.

David: no problem, he release his mask.

The others did the same except Sandra.

John: Sandra am waiting.

Sandra: I don't think it's necessary to do that.

John: alright alright I respect your privacy. Good night.

I went back to the dinning table and doze off.

6:00

Morning.

Parasite: sss hey wake up.

John: what?

When I wake up, I went to the living room. I saw Jack, Xia, Dan, Sky and the 4 guys we rescue. I lean on the wall.

John: what's going on.

Jack: nah we just joking.

Parasite: something is not right. There are too much crowd In here.

John: in mind.... Like what.

Parasite: this four host have parasite in them.

John: in... Mind..... You don't mean it.

Parasite: the host that shows their face are no threat but the last one is doubting.

John: in mind.... Hmm, can they detect you.

Parasite: Nope none of them can detect me.

John: and why is that.

Parasite: because John, they are small Pest, I eat them for breakfast. .

John: In mind..... GOOD

PARASITE: Be ready they are not friendly. THEY WILL KILL YOU.

John: in mind...... Am ready when ever they are. ( I change my face expression.)

Jack steal a glance at me. He notice.

Jack: Alright. Thanks for keeping us company. you can now leave In peace.

Dan and Sky, stood up brought out their guns. sky gun look different. When they saw sky gun they remember what it did to the level 2, so they comply,

David: Alright. But what's going on, we are friends. Aren't we.

Jack: my friend here (pointing at me.) does not feel comfortable around you.

David: what, why is that. You ask us to release our mask and we did as You ask us right? We can trust you. Why don't you still trust us.

John: sorry for that. tell her to remove her mask.

Sandra: No. Anything but that.

John: why? Is your parasite in your mouth.

Jack, Dan and sky point their weapon on them.

David: so you knew.

Jack: like I said get the hell out to avoid any trouble.

Randy: clap clap clap. Good there is no need. Looking at me. Who will save you. You have no weapons,

I keep shut.

David: If we wanted, we can end you in a clip.

John: why don't you try asshole.

Duke has been starring at sky all the time , waiting for the time she will get carried away. Once sky look toward me. Duke decide to make this chance. He grab her neck. I stood straight.

Sandra notice something.

Sandra: drop her.

Duke: why? we already found a good flesh.

I keep walking toward duke.

Sandra: Duke drop her immediately.

He did not answer. I speed over to him and deliver a devastating punch. This send him out of the house to the building opposite us and the building next to it and the next. All we could hear and see were sound of destruction and dust. When I look at my hand, there was blood stained and it dried immediately.

Parasite: Yummy.

I look at sky who is still holding her neck.

John: how are you feeling.

Sky: Am fine.

John: Good.

I looked at the remaining three guys. It shows that they are scared of me.

Randy: we will live right away.

Randy look at the other guys. Let's go guys.

David stare at me angrily and I stare back.

David: this is not over.

Jack: Get out.

David and Randy left, Sandra is still standing.

She keep starring at me, then she move closer and closer. I stood firm waiting for what she is going to do. She lift her hand and place it in my cheek.

Sandra: you've grown strong. Really strong..

John: what the hell are you talking about.

Sandra: you will soon find out.

She was about to leave I grab her hand .
