Third Person POV:---
Her melodious laugh reached his ears. Her long hair free from her ponytail. Her eyes were shining with happiness, as she hit him on his chest playfully.
The grip on the pen tightens, breaking it into two. Liam who was sleeping beside him woke up with a jolt. "What the f**k, dude?" He asked annoyed.
Ryan gaze didn't waver, as he constantly kept staring at Nora. He himself didn't knew what he felt for her. She was confusing him. But one thing is for sure, he can't see her with someone who isn't him. And especially with not that asshole, Dominic.
"Mr Kingsley." Mr Grant called from the front of the classroom as he fix the glasses on his eyes. "Do you have something you like to share with the class?"
Swinging his bag on his back, Ryan stood up with all eyes on him, curiously watching his move. While some girls were busy drooling at him, wondering how someone can be so hot and handsome at the same time. While some had a hope in them of being noticed by him. Poor girls!! Only if they knew that someone has already captured his heart as well as attention.
"No. Beside the fact that your class sucks!!" Ryan said with a bored look on his face, making some students burst in laughter.
With that he stormed out of the class. He entered the campus, as he took in the sight of both of them looking so cosy and perfect. Which burned his whole insides.
Dominic raises his finger and flick Nora on her forehead.
"Did you just flick me?" Her jaw drops.
He flicks her again, making her more horrified than before.
"Did you just flick me again?"
"Yes." Dominic shrugged.
"Then this is what you get for flicking me." She mutters, as she pressed her heels on his feet, making him groan in pain.
Taking a seat in the table in which they sat, Ryan cleared his throat to get their attention.
"I hope I am not interrupting you both." He said through clench teeth, noticing how close they were sitting right now. Which burned his whole insides.
"Actually you are." States Dominic, composing himself and stood up, taking Nora by suprise. "But you know what? Nevermind. Me and Nora was about to go somewhere."
"Don't we?" Asked Dominic glancing at her, as she still was sitting and was lost staring at Ryan.
"Huh?" Nora looked away from Ryan to Dominic and she remembers what he was asking her. "Yeah... We were about to leave for a........ movie."
"It's been ages since I last movie. I am sure you guys wouldn't mind me joining you both." Ryan exclaims standing up and glancing at them.
"I didn't knew being a third wheel is your thing, Knights." Dominic smirks, making Ryan eyes shade a bit darker.
Nora stood up, wobbling slightly on her heels as she could feel the tension radiating from both the boys. Dominic helps her to her feet. He laces their fingers together and started walking out of the cafeteria, leaving Ryan more pissed off and burning in jealousy. Till the point he wanted to rip apart Dominic.
"That was fun." Dominic's chuckles, when they were out of their college building.

"I don't know how but I think I am falling for you." He runs his hand through her hair and pull her face to his, brushing his lips against hers.
He whispers, "I love you, Nora." His gaze was so intent that the entire world seems to stop.
"I love you too, Dominic."
With that his lips descends on her soft ones. Taking her breath away.
"NO!!!!!"
Ryan woke up with a jolt as his chest heaved, moving up and down almost violently. His hands were curled into a tight fist. His hair was messy and was covering his forehead. His eyes were shining with tears.
Ryan gets to his feet. The early morning light filters through the small windows. His muscles taut, his pants a little low on his hips.
"I rather die then see you with him, Nora. You are mine. Mine." He stated aloud while throwing a punch on the wall, not caring a little bit about the blood that started flowing down his hands.

PAST..,
"She is so clumsy. God, I hate her so much."
"Maybe that's the reason why her dad leaved her."
"She should just stop coming to school, the sight of her is way too ugly for my eyes."
Her shoulder slumped down in defeat, tears strained her eyes, as she took her seat in the middle of the class. Feeling everyone eyes on her. The person sitting beside her stand ups and sat on the other seat not before throwing a disgusted look her way.
With shaking hands, she removed her books from her bag. She flinches, when a voice said from beside her.
"Tears doesn't suit such pretty eyes." A boy around eight years old, same age as her, states with his handkerchief in his hand as he forward it towards her.
Hesitantly, she took the handkerchief from him and stutters. "T-Thank You."
"Don't let their opinions affect you." Sarah stop midway after wiping her tears with handkerchief, as she glance at him to find him already staring at her with a genuine smile on his face. Which makes him look more handsome than before. "You are perfect just the way you are."
"No, I am not." Whispers Sarah looking away from him and shielding her beautiful face with her hairs.
"Then why do you think they bully you?" He questions her.
Sensing her silence, he stated, his eyes are bright, steady, intense and so full of confidence. In her. "That's because they are jealous of you. And who would not? You are so good looking and perfect."
"Really?" She asked with such innocence that had him falling for her. Nodding, he roam his hand through his dark hair, when he witnessed her smiling, which took his breath away.
Just then the teacher enters, making the students stand and greet him. Stealing a glance at her, he introduced himself to her. "Myself Ryan. Ryan Knights."
"Sarah Pristen."
"Wanna be friends with me?" He asked with his famous grin.
From that day a beautiful bond took place. A bond known as Friendship. A bond that was way more special than any other bond.
***
"Ryan, I am sorry." Twelve year old Sarah, said with her hands on her ears. "Now please don't be angry with me."
"How can I not? You replaced me Sarah with that douchebag."
"No I did not."
"Then break your friendship with him."
"WHAT????"
"You heard me, Sarah. You can't have both of us at the same time. Either him or me." Her chest rose sharply as she stared at him, eyes widening.
Sarah eyes met his and the answer was immediate. "Then it's you, Ryan. With whom I want my friendship with."
Relief floods him and he yanked her into his arms.
Slowly the friendship was turning into something else. Something else more than friendship. Which sometimes isn't a blessing but a curse.
***
"No, I can't accept it."
"Sarah......" He exclaims strictly.
"Ryan, please understand. It's too expensive."
"It's not like my family is running out of money." He roll his eyes. "It will look good on you. The moment I saw this necklace, your face came to my mind."
"But it's okay, you shouldn't wear it. It's toooooo expensive." He mutters dismissively, making Sarah feel a little guilty.
Turning around she placed her hairs on her left shoulder and whispers, "You win. Might as well as put it on my neck."
A smile tugged on his lips, as he placed the necklace on her neck. It was a gold necklace with a 'Queen'.
***
"Happy Fifteenth Birthday Sarah!!!" He said pecking on her forehead.
"Thank you." She smiled. "But where is my gift-----"
"Shhh!!!" Ryan mutters placing his finger on her lips shutting her off.
Nervously, he pulled the ring from his back pocket and slowly sink to one knee. As realisation dawn on her, he was proposing her. Sarah mouth drops open as she stares at him.
"Sarah Pristen, Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
"No." She said, blinking back the tears, making Ryan's chest tighten in pain and rejection.
With guilt and misery burning inside her, she run away, letting tears escape her eyes.

PRESENT..,
Sarah hand went to the necklace that was given by Ryan at her throat, her habitual gestures that she herself wasn't aware of. As she saw the album full of childhood pictures of her and Ryan. Their memories.
Sarah felt the twist of jealousy in her chest, as she noticed Nora and Ryan exchange in the past few days. Tears started gathering in her eyes. As she remembers how weird Ryan was behaving with her from the last few days. Especially, yesterday when he pulled away the moment she was about to kiss him.
~FLASHBACK~
Sarah leans closer to him and about to kiss him. Just when her lips was about to meet his, he move his face, that her lips met his warm cheeks.
Pulling away, Sarah asked upset, "Is everything alright between us?"
"I don't know." Escapes his lips, as he backed away from her with a faraway look in his eyes.
Sarah couldn't help but feel disheartened, as she saw her and Ryan drifting away.
~FLASHBACK ENDS~
She was pulled out of her thoughts when someone pounds on the door. She looked at the clock to see it was 1.a.m at the night. A frown ceasing her forehead, she headed out her room.
She opens the door to find Ryan. His whole body was soaked, his big body hunched against the rain that bounces off him.
"We need to talk." His voice was muffled by rain. "Sarah."
"That can wait. First you need to change or else you might catch cold." Said Sarah grabbing his hand and dragging him inside.
"This is important, Sarah. This can't wait." States Ryan halting her actions, as she turn around and face him.
He took a deep breath as she seemed to hold hers, waiting for him to say whatever was brewing in his minds.
"I am sorry, Sarah." He said softly.
"I tried..... ." He said with slumped shoulder, as she took a step back and tears consumed her beautiful expressive eyes. Her heart had began to beat very fast. She knew where this was going.
"I tried but I couldn't help but feel empty. As if I lose something important to me. Every small glimpse of her, had my heart beating wildly."
" I kept asking myself what exactly I want." He whispers with a faraway look on his face, as hurt and betrayal poured into her dark black orbs. "But seeing her with someone who isn't me so happy did something to my heart."
"I am in love with her." He said aloud, locking his eyes with hers.
A crack sliced it's way across her poor, beaten heart as he uttered those painful words. Her soul shatters, as she breaks in a thousand million pieces.
"It's Nora, isn't it?" She asked, her voice broken.
Nodding his head, he took her face I'm his hand. His hand remains firm on her face and look in her eyes with earnestly. "You had always been an important person in my life. My childhood best friend and....." He clears his throat. "My first love."
"We can be friends, Sarah. Just like old times." He said with hope building inside his chest. And then a tear slowly begins to take shape and rolls down her cheek.
She shakes her head and she pushed him away and stumbled on her steps.
"Sar-----" He reached out a hand to her. She had began to shake violently. She inhales a shaky breath
"No...." She mutters weakly. " Don't utter my name from your mouth."
"I am sorry."
Her face crumpled, shattered like a dam under too much pressure. She sank to her knees, folding in on herself. Her arms went around her body. She was holding herself tightly, as she could keep from breaking apart. Ryan felt an helpless agony seeing her in this state.
She looked up, he braced himself for the accusations, mean words or slap from her. Instead she asked him in a shaky weak voice, "Is it still about that kiss? You still haven't forgiven me?"
Shaking his head, he said honestly. "I had forgiven you a very long time ago."
"THEN WHY????" She yelled, in her soft voice. "H-H-HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?"
"THAT TOO WITH MY BEST FRIEND." She hiccups.
"I am sor----"
"JUST LEAVE!!!" She yelled pointing towards the door.
Giving her last glance, he leaved the house without saying a word. Breaking their relationship in a heartbeat.
