Rosalia stood still at the figure before her being the very dragon she was scared of moments earlier and was speaking to her. Bion reacted first by replying, "Father I didn't see you there. What did Rosalia do? Her release caused even more clouds than you to spread." Tothaz ignoring the questions instructed him to help her and to walk with her to their home as he was to make sure that the ebon were truly gone. With that he flew up to survey the area.
Rosalia started incoherently mumbling once he left and left Bion standing in total astonishment. "You've never seen a guardian? How - I mean they do protect Rosé's quadrants surly they do the same on Earth." He replied with an undertone of confusion.
Rosalia blinked as her response; no she's never seen a guardian let alone a dragon. What kind of crazy world had she entered?
With no time to think Bion grabbed her hand and was leading her in a more direct manner to where he, and Tothaz, lived. He talked about how the amber flame of zeva is the most powerful and how he's never seen it. The different colored flames of zeva showed not only power but also the level of control. The denser the flame the better the control. He explained that Tothaz has a heavy deep sapphire flame and boss has a lighter jade green flame.
"There's the house! Finally I thought we'd never reach it." He change his topic of discussion leading her by the hand into his home.
Their home was in a clearing full of not quite bloomed flower buds until Rosalia walked towards the house. The buds turned into glowing blooming flowers; a detail not unnoticed by Bion. The house looked like a hollowed out tree with windows on all sides and a navy door on the near side. The exterior was painted in a moss green paint that shifted in the moonlight. The windows were the same clear glass as of the cafe illuminated by ópolo lights inside the house.
When he stepped inside he released her hand to take his hat off which surprised Rosalia. She hadn't noticed before but he was always fidgeting with it, maybe here he had an untraditional hair color he was embarrassed by. Then she saw his pointed ears sitting in the mess of his hair. "You have elf ears!" she shouted in glee. He replied with a sigh and said, "Yes I have the pointed ears and before you ask no this is not as cool as you make it seem. Its a maker of those destined to be an outcast."
Her joyful look turned sad after hearing about his predetermined fate but walked to him and said, "Then make this marker yours. It hasn't been declared that you're an outcast so change the stereotype." she said with a smile encouraging Bion.
Just then Tothaz came in but he had transformed into a man with long amazonite hair in a braid going down his back. His eyes the color of pyrite in a suit of black and teal. His exposed blue undertone skin having trace of a scale like texture. But even with the different look he had a calm demeanor.
He directed his first sentence to Rosalia, "Young wanderer, you have managed to do the impossible. Using your zeva flame without any training from a guardian. I fear for you on your planet and your future there but here you can only grow." Rosalia taken aback by this looked shocked at the man who had joined Bion and herself but wasn't in a panic. She then asked, "How do I train it? Can I prevent this dark future you predict with the training?"
He looked away from her out the window and shock his head, "You can't prevent it but training here will allow you to become more confident with zeva but it won't change anything. Do you know how to get home?"
Rosalia blinked and then replied shyly, "No but I should learn not only zeva control but also how to travel." Tothaz then started to walk outside leaving Bion and Rosalia in the building.
"Well come on it'll only work twice a rotation." He more yelled at the kids who started running after him. When they got outside Tothaz gave her a amulet made of dull ópolo. It was the size of a bean with a micro carving of what was his dragon form which she couldn't see.
"Take this and put it on. With it you can go from here back home but it'll only work when the light is on the edge of sight so you can't be late. You understand?" Her response, "Got it put zeva into this black stone at either sunrise or sunset. How do I do that? Apparently it worked earlier by mistake and I have no control." Trying to speak to Rosalia, Tothaz began explaining that her chant from earlier would be sufficient and that she needs to do this first before any other training can begin. Disappointed Rosalia tried to remember the chant while watching the moon, called Eucarro, set to bring the dawn.
While standing just outside of earshot Bion left to go inside to get Rosalia some clothes that would be worthy of the strongest wanderer in history and decided to make her something when he couldn't find anything. Taking the graneet colored tablecloth he made the base of the outfit. Then taking one of Tothaz's more neutral brown suits he cut the sleeves off to make her boots and a wide waist belt. He took his only hat to make her fingerless gloves since it did match the base. He made shorts out his bedroom curtains the same color of the arola leaves. Finishing his creation he called for Rosalia.
Rosalia blinked out of her daydream and went to the house and Biom handed hamded her a gift. He said with a bright smile, "Put it on. I made it so you wouldn't be in your...what was your planet name again?"
With a giggle she said, "Its called Earth and that's so thoughtful. I'll change inside." When she went inside Bion felt scared but excited and as Tothaz came over to wait for the wanderer to come back he asked him, "What is exciting you boy, the fact you can do good work without zeva or a real friend to hangout with?"
Eucarro high in the sky was the only thing really waiting for a response from the boy since Tothaz already knew the awnser. But Bion didn't know the awnser but he knew this was the start of a new chapter in his life.
