The Rose Garden

Trip 2

While playing on her tablet she noticed a new button appear on her screen. It was a pink and green sphere with no label but curiosity got to her and she pushed it. Suddenly seeing nothingness than the cafe from prior she stayed seated on what she assumed to be a chair.

The boy from earlier made a sudden noise while cleaning the brown floor from under Rosalia scaring her. She screamed and fell onto the floor next to him. He stared at her surprised to hear a voice from the girl in just a black oversized shirt with her previously neatly woven hair in a messy ball atop her head. She began apologizing incoherently then suddenly stopped. Afterwards she grabbed him hugging him tightly and said, "I can talk. I have a voice. And this place is real. I can't believe it."

He sat there frozen which then cued another apology from the wanderer. He spoke up again, "I'm glad that your voice has returned but how have you come back?" She looked stunned and after getting up off the floor she told him what happened prior. Afterwards she asked him, "What is this place? I've never seen a place with such terrain or people with eyes as pretty as yours." His cheeks were lightly tinted pink at the compliment and answered her, "This place is Twilight and is where I work. The terrain is that of Rosé. My eyes are not as common as the sapphire and morganite but aren't only mine." He tugged on his hat to ensure his ears were covered.

While he explained the planet they were on she wandered the room entranced by the ópolo glassware and the seeming impossible seamless glass. She asked, "I haven't caught your name, what is it?" This sudden question stopped his explanation and he responded to this new question with a quiet, "Bion. My name is Bion Omalen."

"Bion? What a unique name, I'm Rosalia Stellato." she responded with an outstretched hand to Bion who was bowing. They stood as such for a second then exchanged a look of confusion. Then suddenly they were laughing at the difference of their cultures. Through the laughter she said, "Well that was an introduction..." a forgotten statement as she looked out the window and saw tourmalin colored clouds showering the dusty rose earth with rain. He laughed at this reaction making her red, embarrassed.

"Want to go outside in the rain to explore?" he asked her hopefully for he felt free when he did so. Her response was, "Only if I find some shoes and pants."

Bion finally realized she was in just a tunic and became very embarrassed and red remembering her abrupt arrival atop of him. Leaving her behind he walked out looking for the back room. He felt lost even though hes known this building for years all because this girl showed up a second time. Finally finding his locker he grabbed the clothes he wore in to work that day. Finding his tan pants and his shoes he came back.

Rosalia during this time sat at the bar looking out at the rain. Thinking about her new friend and how to return home. Bion never explained that during his speech earlier but she didn't care her head didn't hurt here.

Bion arrived with some pants and shoes; his face adorned with a lopsided grin and messed up hair. "Found some. Also wanna meet my father Tothaz? He'll also have a better explanation of all of this than me." he asked hopeful for a favorable reply. She took the clothes and put them on mulling over the question and decided on a response, "Yeah why not, it's not like I have anywhere else to go. Besides I get to see more of this world."

Beaming with joy he lead her on out of the cafe to which she saw the exterior to be a similar tone to the ground and the roof covered with an chrysoprase tile that gave the building a more cube shape. Somehow the seamless crystal clear glass on the interior had a frosted look from the exterior.

They ran and ran through the forest with joy and no care of their appearance due to the warm rain that trickled down from above the trees. They ran into the forest Rosalia following Bion as he led her to his home where he and Tothaz lived. As Bion got further ahead of Rosalia was slowing down and she was beginning to lose her way.

Ebon followed her closely as to kill her for arriving here at all. They were mindless creatures who followed the Chimera's orders as to not be punished. By using zeva they confused Rosalias perception as to where Bion was and try to capture her.

Just then the tourmalin clouds spit with a roar and a mighty dragon appeared in front of Rosalia.

Rosalia screamed for Bion but still being under the influence of the Ebon see couldn't find him at all. Bion followed her voice and shouted his response to her cries, "Its okay don't worry just keep your head down and follow my voice!" Rosalia searching and searching remembered something Bion said earlier, that she had control over zeva and she just needed the right word or phrase to unlock it. But it could take years and she didn't have the time with her friend missing and a giant dragon shooting what she assumed to be the zeva he mentioned she needed to act now.

It a fit of fear she said words really fast without concernabout what was said, "Etopeful reunon" then around her a bright flame of zeva expanded around her removing the ebon spell and allowing her to see Bion being right next to her. But she also purified the ebon causing them to vanish into the now visible sapphire sky.

Bion looked shocked and was in total awe of Rosalia. She figured out her phrase in only hours of being told about it, it was incredible. He himself was still working on it with his father.

Then his father, Tothaz, approached the two. The first thing he said was directed at Rosalia, "An incredible sight to behold young one but I hope you're prepared for the aftermath of this new ability here."
