A Closet of Secrets

Sebastian's POV As I walked out of the building, water started to fall fast and hard from the sky. I ran to my car and got in quickly. I looked behind me and saw Sage's car still there. However, two of her tires look like they had been slashed. I bet it was Janie or one of those other assholes. I sat there and waited for Sage to come out. A few minutes later, I saw her bright, little shorts run out of the building and to her car. She soon saw the slashed tires and threw her stuff down in defeat. She looked like she was about to cry. I'm gonna f*****g kill them. Anyone who f***s with her, I'm going to kill them. I heard Damien growl. He has never been possessive or cared for others. I don't know why he is acting like this. Well, offer her a f*****g ride. He was always pushy too. I opened my door and yelled her name. "I saw your tires, but I don't know who did it. Let me give you a ride home. We can figure out getting your tires fixed later," I said as I grabbed her bags off of the wet concrete. I heard a sniffle, and she walked to my car. Once we got in, I looked over at her. Her beautiful curly, black hair was flopping in her face. Any makeup that she was wearing is now smudged across her face. Damien and I argued whether the water on her face was only the rain or if tears were mixed in as well. I just knew that she was sad and defeated. It was like I could feel her emotions. She silently put her address into my GPS. I drove her home with only the sound of rain and the GPS's commands muffling the sounds of her trying to not cry. I could feel that she wanted to cry. I could feel the pain coursing through her. I just wanted to hold her tightly and tell her that everything would be okay. I could feel Damien pacing back and forth. He was worried about her, but he was also pissed about the whole situation. He wanted to kill Janie, Daniel, and all the others who messed with Sage. He wanted blood. After about a 15 minute drive, we pulled up to a nice two story cottage that was painted a light yellow color. There was a large oak tree in the front of her house and the porch swing was going crazy. "Thank you," she said softly. "You're welcome. How about you run ahead and I will bring your things to the door?" I offered. She shook her head yes and opened the car door. I saw her close the door and run up the steps to her home. I quickly got out of my car and grabbed her things. Once I reached her front porch, a heavy smell of werewolf hit my nose. Someone's here. We can't leave her. Damien was right. A wolf has been around this house a lot. "Do you live alone? I could have sworn I saw a person run behind your house," I quickly said. Way to go dumbass. Now she's probably scared and creeped out by you. Her eyes widened, and she looked around quickly. "It's just me here. Um, do you mind checking around my house and stuff to make sure no one is here? Sorry, I'm just kinda freaked out now," she said as I felt the fear start to take over her body. I put my hand on her shoulder and felt a shock of electricity spread from her to me. We both jumped back, confused. "Um, I will happily check everything for you. After the tires situation, I would be freaked out too, " I said with a nervous chuckle. Are you trying to freak her out more? Just stop talking. I walked around the outside and inside of her house. I didn't see anyone or anything that made me think anyone had been around other than Sage for a while. When inside her house, the scent was stronger. I followed the smell to two large, closed doors. "Is it okay if I check in here?" I asked quickly. If there was a wolf in this house, it was behind those doors. "Yeah, I guess. Please just don't touch anything in there. It was my parents room," she said as she walked to the kitchen. I opened the door and was hit by a mixture of smells. The first smell was clearly a werewolf's. The second smell was just as powerful, but it was unlike anything I have ever smelled before. I looked all throughout the room and followed the smell. It was the strongest in the closet. I opened the closet doors and checked thoroughly. The smell was coming from the clothes that hung in the closet. The male clothes smelled like a werewolf. The female clothes smelled like something else. I told you that Sage is a werewolf. I f*****g told you. I shook off his comments. Her dad was clearly a wolf, but her mom clearly isn't. Sage doesn't smell like a wolf, but something tells me there is something she is hiding.
