Chapter six

#The Next Day

Violet POV

The next morning I woke up, I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and met mom already cooking. 'Good morning mom' I greeted her. 'Good morning dear..how was your night?' she asked. 'Fine and yours?' I asked her. She replied it was okay.

Sometimes mom acts normal while some other times it seems like she's triggered off. Right now I knew she was fine because she was making breakfast for only herself. Could you believe that? But I was happy because she doesn't do anything when she's not stable and can forget to eat almost a whole day. It makes me sad sometimes. I haven't told her I had found my mate. It's a more reason why she would leave me. I may be selfish but I didn't want her to go,not yet anyways.

I sat down in the chair and stare at her as she cook. My mom has ebony black hair like mine, but her eyes are blue so i most have inherented dad's eyes. What I mostly love about her is her smiles. She is indeed a beauty and deserves more then all these sufferings. When she noticed that I was staring at her, she smiled and said 'I am not going to vanish into thin air' which made me laugh. I love my mom, I really do alot,she is everything I got apart from Frank and Sasha then maybe Leila. I don't know,maybe just hiding Aaron from her will be good for both of us.

You shouldn't hide it from her.Mom deserves the truth and happiness. You are the reason she's refusing to go and rest that's why she's insane.

Sasha was annoyed with me and she's right to be.

I still need her.I 'm not ready to say goodbyes. I will tell her when the time comes

I told Sasha who just scoffed.

After my encounter with mom, I was at the pack's border after I told Mom I was going to get food stuffs. I needed to go see Frank and explain about Aaron to him. I am looking for a way to avoid Aaron. If I didn't go to the pack house he will come look for me. I quickly passed the guards at the gates after greetings and collecting a pass slip.

I walked for a while till I got to a clearing were the highway road was sighted. Not much humans knew about the supernatural world except human mates. I stopped an empty cab and gave the driver directions. While I sat in the car I began to think about the turns in my life and I won't lie I was starting to freak out.

'Maam we are there' the driver said. He had been driving for twenty minutes. I paid him and stepped out of the cab then waited for him to leave before walking into another direction of the forest. I got to my destination before entering the building ahead of me. The building was an old five story built and most of the rogue stayed in there sometimes including Frank. Nobody noticed that's their hideout because Frank has been cautious.

Though sometimes they are in the forest in a hidden cave. I took the stairs up to the last story and went down the old corridor. I met some rogues on the way. They recognized me before I went to room number 122 and knocked. A rogue opened it and I entered the room. 'welcome love I have missed you. How has the starlight pack been doing?' he asked me.

I saw him sitting on the couch. So I went to join him on it and cuddle him. 'I missed you too and nothing much about that pack except the Alpha's son is now eighteen years old. I have something to tell you' I said nervously. 'what my love?' he asked. 'I found out that the Alpha's son is my mate' I flinched when I said it. His face was blanked before it broke into a smile. 'That's good news our plan will work easily now. I hope you don't want to be with him?' he asked. 'No! not at all' I said shaking my head negatively, while I hugged him tightly.
